BART Restores Train Service In The East Bay After Earlier Problem Between Orinda & Concord

BART restored train service on Wednesday morning on the Antioch line between Orinda and Concord stations after an earlier power problem disrupted the transit agency’s operations.

Around 6:45 a.m., BART officials said trains were running again through the affected stretch, but riders should expect delays as service returns to normal and schedules are reset.

BART initially announced the service disruption shortly after 5:15 a.m.

The transit agency had set up bus shuttles between the Orinda and Concord stations to help stranded commuters travel during the service suspension.

We will be so blessed if the HSR system operates 1/2 as well as BART does.
Our tax and Fee dollars have been spent so well. (Sic.)

Too late for my commute, another day, another BART problem.

With a Bart outage seemingly weekly these days, one would have to wonder how Bart can let itself fall into such disrepair.
I suspect Bart is following PB&E’s lead by not replacing equipment when specified and then crying for more money to fix something that should have been fixed decades ago.
Personally, I think it’s all a scam by corrupt corporate management and bureaucrats
If the people don’t vote for a fare increase, you can bet the legislature will pass it.
