why is Minnesota is being targeted for fraud and immigration crackdown? If trump and crew were serious about immigration crackdown, the states ( like fl, ca and tx) would be the best place due to high population of undocumented immigrants. As for protesting, trump administration is full of amateurs. look at the previous administrations; there were little to no protests when they deport undocumented immigrants.
Hey Einstein, ICE operations(the enforcement of laws of our country here the USA) have been occurring in many cities other that Minneapolis. Do yourself a favor and turn off your TV. It will really help you not look like such a fool.
Protests? Us people who work, support a family, pay taxes, and support our communities don’t have the time and energy to spend ranting and tantruming in the streets.

It’s not just ICE, other federal agencies are also involved. From what I’ve seen
there’s no talking to the rioters because they have their minds made up. Trump
and the feds are the bad guys and there isn’t any reasoning with people that
refuse to listen to reason. With that in mind, what they should do is treat it as a
crime scene and cordon off the entire area to prevent people from entering or
leaving. Read them their Miranda Rights, and arrest them for obstruction of
justice and any other crime they can come up with. Then go after the politicians
and the media that have been encouraging them to resist and fight back, and
charge them with inciting a riot and violence.
If arrests fail to deter the violence, then the President should use the Insurrection
Act to deploy the National Guard and the US Marines.
Rioting and violence is not protected by the First Amendment. The First
Amendment clearly states the right of peaceful assembly and the right to
petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Trump is trying to provoke the people of Minneapolis so he can invoke the Insurrection Act. The Insurrection Act would remove limits to his powers like civil rights and the courts.
This would be the time for soldiers to not follow “illegal orders.”
Why is ICE in Minneapolis and not Texas where there would be more illegal immigrants?
Hopefully they do invoke the insurrection act and clean that filth from the streets of Minnesota!

I think MN is just 1/50th of the states the fraud issues, and I think the Somali population and their schemes represent a small percentage of groups getting our (taxpayer) money through these schemes. I am sure within this state I would not be surprised if the amount of fraud approaches tens of billions. We citizens are getting ripped off so much everywhere it is numbing. I hope ICE continues its activities, and law enforcement become less tolerant of illegal protester activities. It will be interesting, but not surprising, if they tie any of the fraud in MN to omar.

I am not against immigrants. I am against ILLEGAL immigrants. Illegal is defined as someone who either entered the country illegally or has over stayed their visa. I do not care if the violation is civil or criminal … it is a crime.

It was not stolen … it was purchased. Yes, some of the US was conquered by settlers … but it appears that a huge chunk was purchased. And most of the stolen land argument comes from the areas (Lousiana and Mexico purchases) … so how does that work?

There are so many videos of Americans who are detained because they’re brown and only after they show their ID are they released. Completely illegal as there are many supreme court cases ruling on this going back over 50 years. And then ICE agents are told the feds have their backs even if they break these laws. No more of this. Cut ICE funding 80%.

Arresting people while they are in the process of committing a crime is not a 4th Amendment violation.

ICE funding doesn’t need to be cut, we just need Congress to change the law, so that Title 42, Chapter 21, Subchapter 1, Section 1983, for deprivation of rights, applies to federal government employees, just as Congress has made it apply to state, local, and special district employees.
So you have witnessed it all, and have seen every incident where ICE has detained people? Or, are you just parroting what you see on TV?
Fraud issue is separate….. all of the other ICE raids, protests, etc. are as a result of over inflated egos & belligerent politicos in Washington DC trying to show “who is in charge” … so unnecessary – lives lost, and legal citizens being intimidated ….. the US is better than this

President Obama “deported more people” because he “returned” recent arrivals at the border, meaning within 100 miles of a land or water border, most of whom were apprehended at the actual U.S.-Mexico border, who didn’t go through a formal deportation process, and he had limited interior deportation enforcement, while also not prioritizing individuals who arrived in the U.S. as minors and those without a criminal record.

In 2025, fewer than a quarter million individuals were apprehended at the U.S.-Mexico border, the lowest number in almost 6 decades, which means that President Trump has had far fewer individuals to “return” at the border without a formal deportation process. The conditions aren’t the same, so it’s not so easy to actually compare “deportations” under President Trump with “deportations” under President Obama, unless one does what you did and just looks at pure numbers without any context.

While in some cases in Minnesota, both protesters and ICE look bad, but then American corporate media enjoys only showing us what looks bad. I will however concede that some of the recorded actions of ICE Agents in Minnesota are beyond concerning and troubling, especially where the 4th Amendment Rights of Americans are being violated. What hasn’t really been reported on by American corporate media is the U.S. Border Patrol, especially at Internal Border Patrol Checkpoints, located up to 100 miles from a land or water border, are acting in the same manner as ICE Agents in Minnesota, and violating the 4th Amendment Rights of Americans. I have to wonder how many federal tort claims will be filed as a result of the actions of some ICE and Border Patrol Agents and how much it’s going to cost us?
When Obama was in office every alien that was turned away at the border was counted as a “deportation” so the record of the “Deporter in Chief” was bullsh*t. Still, Obama was making deportations happen & for some reason, back then it was A-OK with the Dem’s at least until Republicans were in charge.
