There used to be a fence, but now there’s a wall. PG&E is building a wall around the substation on Pine Hollow Road for two reasons; security & privacy. It should be completed by next week.

Probably a good idea because who knows what malicious turkeys might be up to. 🦃

Good Idea – keeps the immigrants out and hopefully reduces the SF 49ers injury issues.

WE THE PEOPLE ARE PAYING FOR THESE! If they are doing this to protect from vandalism, have they ever heard of drones? Plus, possums, raccoons, and the California Grey Fox can all climb walls!

It’s about time …. I’ve wondered about that for years… I hope all of the substations are getting the same treatment.

The walls need to be higher than the transformers to keep them from being shot at.

This station was bombed by a radical group in the mid 1970’s…..I read about it then in the Contra Costa Times. Cannot find any mention of it on line though.

it will look better, I hate to pay for it though.

The helium filled mylar balloons will easily float down and wreak havoc

I thought this state was ‘fighting Trump’, yet the walls are still being built.

This state has no idea what they are fighting for.

We need an alternative to PG&E so there is some competition for business with possible lower rates… but we know that will never ever happen!
