Authorities Investigate Suspicious Voicemail At Northgate High School

This morning, Walnut Creek Police responded to Northgate High School after staff discovered a suspicious voicemail left over the weekend. The message indicated potential threats to campus safety.

Officers immediately searched the school and deployed our K9 unit. No suspicious items were found, and classes have resumed as normal. Out of an abundance of caution, we will maintain an increased patrol presence for the remainder of the day.

The investigation is ongoing. If you have any information, please contact Walnut Creek Police at (925) 943-5844.

My first instinct is to think it is a student that avoided a test or just wanted the day off whatever reason, but if not threatening a school is one of the lowest forms of life…they can find out who left the message.

Regardless of what “they” say – all calls are trackable – when they say anonymous – not! The call may be routed very obscurely but ultimately sourced if need be… it could be to a different country however
