As we first reported, Willow Pass Rd from Lynwood to Highway-4 was shut down for a few hours this morning while Concord Police and the California Highway Patrol investigated a vehicle collision involving a school bus. Fortunately, no major injuries were reported.

crashing into a school bus now thats embarrassing.
Assuming the driver of the silver car was distracted and speeding in the hazardous foggy conditions this morning. She better have some good insurance. That repair won’t be cheap.
IF you can’t see tail lights slow down, if you can follow at a
DISTANCE that you can still see them.

Wow, I mentioned a silver or gray colored car in my other post……I couldn’t imagine they would be hitting a huge bus parked on the side of the road,
That was my son’s school bus. This is a special ed bus , so I imagine it was a chaotic scene and the kids must have been frightened. People need to slow down. Fog is very dangerous. I assume the driver was on their phone, because we as a society have lost common sense.
But that call or text is life altering right!?! Insane how people have that little black box glued to their hands all day like their lives depend on it!
Why was the silver sedan driving on the shoulder? Thats not recommended or typical.
And no one is talking about the tinted windows!? What are people hiding that they need to keep their windows tinted so dark!? Cops need to start cracking down on that! I steer clear of cars with tinted windows. Tinted windows and texting while driving are a bad combo. Police needs to pay attention in the mornings to drivers on Willow Pass Rd between Landana and Farm Bureau because NO ONE, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE!!! stops for the school bus that makes its route along that stretch of road.
