A weeklong human trafficking enforcement effort across Contra Costa County resulted in 11 arrests, the identification of 20 survivors, and criminal charges against three suspects, according to the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

The operation, known as Operation Reclaim and Rebuild, was conducted from Jan. 25 through Jan. 31 in conjunction with National Human Trafficking Prevention Month. It involved coordinated efforts by 21 local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, along with five victim service organizations.

Authorities carried out five separate anti-trafficking operations throughout the county, targeting suspected sex trafficking, pimping, pandering, and firearms violations. In addition to the arrests, investigators developed new leads and gathered corroborating evidence in several ongoing human trafficking cases.

District Attorney Diana Becton said the operation underscores the county’s commitment to protecting vulnerable individuals and holding traffickers accountable.

“The arrests made during this week-long operation send a clear message: human trafficking will not be tolerated in Contra Costa County,” Becton said.

Officials said all 20 identified survivors were given the opportunity to speak with specialized human trafficking victim advocates and were offered support services. Three youth survivors were recovered during the operation, and investigations into their suspected traffickers are ongoing.

Two suspects were arraigned Tuesday in Contra Costa Superior Court in Martinez, while a third is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday afternoon. Charges include human trafficking of a minor for a sex act, pandering of a minor, lewd acts upon a child, and allegations related to possession of a firearm by a felon.

Task Force Director Katrina Natale said the operation prioritized survivor support alongside enforcement.

“Our priority is supporting survivors, ensuring they receive the help they need, and bringing their exploiters to justice,” Natale said.

The Contra Costa Human Trafficking Task Force, founded in 2018, is co-led by the District Attorney’s Office and Community Violence Solutions. Officials encourage anyone with information about suspected human trafficking to contact local law enforcement or the district attorney’s human trafficking tip line at 925-957-8658. Victims seeking support services can call Community Violence Solutions’ 24-hour hotline at 800-670-7273.

When ICE does it, the Left calls them Nazi’s and kidnappers.

When ICE does it they’re blindly pulling people off of the streets based on race. I mean, you can’t be serious with what you just said…

ICE has arrested over 10,000 criminals in Minneapolis since their
operation began last December. They are targeting illegal invaders
with criminal records that do not belong in the United States.
The criminal illegals they have arrested have been convicted of
crimes such as homicide, sexual assault, forcible rape, pedophilia,
drug and human trafficking.
If the people of Minneapolis don’t want ICE in their city, then they
must be OK with these criminals living in their neighborhoods
because their police, governor, and mayor aren’t doing anything
about it except to spread lies that ICE has been pulling people
off the streets based on race.
When you hear of an American citizen being arrested by ICE, it is
because that citizen was hitting, spitting, or punching a federal agent
and interfering with their operation. When you hear of ICE kicking in
the door to peoples homes without a warrant, what the lying news is
not telling you is that somebody in those homes was shooting at them.

The TV and the dim bulbs information source news media doesn’t report any of that.

Blindly? How is that possible if it’s based on race?

Jessica made that up because it suits her political ideology to import rapists, murderers, drug dealers, reckless truck drivers, child molesters, human traffickers, arsonists, fraudsters, gang-bangers, and other assorted felons who can be counted on to vote for democrats.

Surprise! “…allegations related to possession of a firearm by a felon” Why is the felon back on the street? 2 days of good behavior? You wanna protect the community, prosecute!!! This guy is out doing that? Really?. Shame!
