A warning to all with moderately high blood-pressure.
I began taking Amlodipine (generic for Norvasc) about three months ago and my hair began falling out.
Every time I washed my hair and combed it while wet, I would find a huge clump of hair in the comb.
Find another blood-pressure medicine!

I only put two and two together this morning after researching all my regular supplements.

Hair loss is not a common side effect of amlodipine, but if it is a side effect in your
case, talk to your doctor and ask if minoxidil will help with your blood pressure.
Minoxidil is a medication for treating hypertension, and it’s the same medication
that’s in Rogaine for treating hair loss.

Thanks for the tip, Dawg – it’ll all work out, though. First Mate has agreed to polish my bald head before work each day, so it’s all good!

Check with Doctor about cutting back on salt.

I just paid my PG&E bill and noticed a big headline saying that energy usage costs are being reduced. The price you pay for electricity is going down. What’s the catch? There is a new Base Service charge. The document says your actual bill may go up.
I look at PG&E as a version of the old shell game.
Those folks have no redeemable values.
