U.S. Rep. Mark DeSaulnier (D–Concord) will host a town hall meeting in Pleasant Hill on Saturday, Feb. 7, where he plans to discuss recent actions in Congress and take questions from constituents.

The event is scheduled from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. DeSaulnier is expected to speak about his efforts to challenge what he describes as unlawful actions by the Trump Administration, including his support for the impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. He will also address his work aimed at lowering costs for American families.

The town hall is open to constituents by RSVP only, and attendance is limited. Those wishing to attend must register in advance to receive the event address or to request special accommodations.

Registration is available at desaulnier.house.gov/town-hall-rsvp, or by calling the congressman’s district office at (925) 933-2660.

Well if he wants to talk about lowering costs, perhaps he can explain why gasoline prices are going up again. And why his team believes chasing all the refinery’s out of the state was a good idea.

Congressman DeSaulnier’s answer will be to “give up fossil fuels and buy electric.”

10

He would be wrong because recent research shows fossils don’t create oil but by a process deep in the earth from carbon deposits. “Fossil fuel” has been debunked!

Aren’t the carbon deposits created from the fossils of the decomposed
remains of dead plants, bacteria, and algae?

Here is one of many articles on the subject:

But I think there is an attempt to be kind and include the fossil origin to avoid a big controversy.

The Fearless Spectator,
.
Congressman DeSaulnier will say, “Gas prices are rising because the unscrupulous oil companies are chasing greater profits.”

Are you going to get a day pass at the local rest home for your attendee’s and hand out signs?

In a SECRET location ? ? ? ?
Reason for hiding ? ? ? ?

Original G,
.
Congressman DeSaulnier went to the undisclosed location RSVP townhall meetings because too many people were showing up and filling the rooms beyond capacity.

How hard would it be to have town hall in a larger venue ?
Is limited seating intentional ?
A new definition of transparency ?

Bla-Bla-Bla…. “Trump bad!!!!”. cry me a river. Lawless?? you people are the reason everything is locked up behind plastic in the stores, you encouraged lawlessness.

Shut up, Mark. I hope you sent Trump a Christmas card, because without him you’d literally have nothing to talk about. The “accomplishments” listed on your own website are not only decades old, but of zero consequence. You have done nothing other than rubber stamp anything anti-Trump, even if it is detrimental to the lemmings that continue to vote you into office.

You’re a politician of no political value. Enjoy your secret echo chamber.

whatever,
.
Congressman DeSaulnier is a self-proclaimed workaholic. He even blames the end of his marriage on himself for being a workaholic. He’s spending a lot of time working on his “accomplishments”?

Ask him about his mileage tax please
he must be so proud

They want to impeach Kristi Noem because she is a success, and the Dems
cannot handle a successful Republican.

I’m sure he’ll run out of tie before getting to the “lowering costs” part of the town hall. I’m sure if he does get to it he will say we need to impeach Trump before costs can be lowered.

WC—Creeker,
.
Congressman DeSaulnier normally doesn’t wear a tie at his townhall meetings.

This guy is so shady. All his meetings are last minute where you have to ask him to be able to attend. Where’s the open and transparent government here Mark? I’m sure they’ll fill the room with pre approved candidates who won’t ask any real questions. This is such a joke.

GruesomeNewsom,
.
Congressman DeSaulnier’s townhall was announced by his office last Friday and was filled to capacity with RSVPs within hours.
.
There’s only three or four locations in Pleasant Hill where this meeting would be held, so it’d be pretty easy to find if you really wanted to attend and get a no-show seat.

You sound like you work for this ineffective party switching political grifter! You are all over this thread defending him.

bddp,
.
No, I don’t work for Congressman DeSaulnier. I’m not defending him either, I’m just trying to be informative.

bddp,

If you’re interested, our lying, corrupt, crooked, YIMBY, preacher, party switching Democrat State Senator Tim Grayson and our party switching Democrat County Supervisor Ken Carlson will be having a joint “meet and greet” on Friday, February 27th, in Concord, at Skylinks at Buchanan Fields, 1091 Concord Avenue, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Be sure to register to attend!

… “special accommodations” ?? …. lots of transparency there (sarc)

Maybe him and Swalhell and do a duel Town Hall together and just call it dumb and dumber.

Clayton1,
.
At a townhall during President Trump’s first term, Congressman DeSaulnier said, “We’re so lucky to have Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell.” So, no, he’d never go along with your suggestion.
