There has never been a song written that I’d want to listen to 100 times.
I like music, but my life doesn’t revolve around it.

Light My Fire, Freebird, Inna Godda Da vida (sp?), All Along the Watchtower, Iron Man, Whole Lotta Love, there’s more but will stop there – have probably listened to them 100 times already
Light My Fire, for sure, and many other Doors songs as well. Besides with UTube watching Jim Morrison singing Light My Fire on the Sullivan show, never gets old, at least if you are female. He looked very sexy in leather.

Sing, sing, sing by Benny Goodman. In Memory of Elizabeth Reed by The Allman Brothers Band. The River by Bruce Springsteen. Oye Como Va by Santana. I love music!
I saw them perform it at the Fillmore in San Francisco around the time it was released (it may have been before it was released). The format at the Fillmore was the headliner was on from around midnight until 2AM, the second act was a well known act and on around 10-midnight, with the opening act on 8-10. The opening act was a group you may have heard of, possibly a new group. That night, the headliner was BB King, the second act was Buddy Guy and the opening act was the Allman Brothers; they “blew the roof off!” One of the best 6 hours of music I’ve ever been to.
I remember when they called themselves The Allman Joys, and they would
give a free performance at the Straight Theater. (Formally the Haight Theater.)
Groups like the Sons of Champlin, Country Joe and the Fish, Quicksilver
Messenger Service, the Jefferson Airplane, Big Brother and the Holding
Company, Moby Grape, Blue Cheer, It’s A Beautiful Day, the Steve Miller Band,
and the Grateful Dead would hold free concerts on Sundays. One day the
Dead held a free concert on a flatbed truck in the middle of Haight Street.
The street was closed off and thousands of people showed up. It was really
nice in those days, no fights, no problems, just people enjoying the concerts
and having a good time.
WOW!!!
That’s a dream show, I absolutely love BB & Buddy, I’ve seen them both several times.
The first time I saw Allman brothers band perform was in 73 or 74 at Day on the green.
The last time I saw them was at Konocti Harbor Inn on Clear Lake, around yr 2000, Dicky Bett’s, Jimmy Herring, and Derek Trucks blazing on the guitars. It was a great show!!!

Just one???? Here are a few: I’m A Man (either Chicago or the Spencer Davis Group), Beginnings (Chicago, or almost anything else by them), Whipping Post (Allman Brothers), Somebody to Love (Jefferson Airplane), Truckin’ (Grateful Dead), Things are Getting Better (or anything else by the Sons of Champlin), Never Make Your Move Too Soon (or almost anything else by Joe Bonamassa), Lilly Was Here (Candy Dulfer, live from Basel Switzerland in 2015 – an incredible performance, watch the You Tube video), Eye in the Sky (Alan Parsons Project, live), Chicago and Earth, Wind and Fire concert, live from the Greek Theater.
Music is a big part of my life. Since I was a teenager I have loved music and listened to a lot. As a teenager my friends and I were into jazz, folk music (Pete Seeger) and rock, but jazz was number one.
As for music I never get tired of there are quite a few. For relaxation: Black Magic Women, Santana, Bridge over Troubled Water, especially the version from Simon and Garfunkel’s Central Park concert. Also for relaxation and to tune out the world, Rhapsody in Blue by Gershwin, and Ravel’s Bolero. I love The Band, “It makes no difference” from The Last Waltz, never get tired of it, Robbie’s lyric’s and Rick heartbreaking voice, and Robbie’s guitar playing at the end and of course Garth. Also, The Last Waltz “Forever Young”, with Bob Dylan. Robbie and Eric Clapton’s friendly guitar duel from “Further Up the Road”, such a pleasure to watch, they are so into the music. “Across the Great Divide” is another favorite. Other songs I don’t get tired of “Heard it through The Grapevine”, by Marvin Gaye. The Temptations “Ain’t to proud to beg”. Lynard Skynard “Gimme me 3 steps”, love the story telling. Love Bobby Darin singing “Mack the Knife”. I could mention many more, I know it is quite a few, but I have been into music since I was a teenager. Also like a few songs that my parents listened to “We’ll meet again” by Vera Lynn, and Glenn Miller’s “Moonlight Seranade”.
