The City of Walnut Creek is inviting the community to celebrate the next step in the transformation of Heather Farm Park. A groundbreaking ceremony for the replacement of the aging Aquatics and Community Centers will take place on February 18 at 4:00 p.m. at Heather Farm Park. Community members are encouraged to attend and help mark the milestone. The project is one of several initiatives funded largely through Measure O, the local sales tax measure approved by voters in 2022. The new Aquatics and Community Centers are expected to open by the end of next year.
