…. no – not in the least…. but do believe in Gibbs’ rule 39

I’m not superstitious, but I am a little stitious.

Not anymore

I’m too pragmatic to be superstitious. My focus is primarily on practicality,
reality and sensibility rather than abstract theories or idealism.

I pray to God, thank him and I make sure I have an extra good day on these supposedly unlucky ones, like Friday the 13th.
* I’m actually having one of my best days ever today!*

When you believe in things
That you don’t understand
Then you suffer!
Superstition ain’t the way…

Boy o Boy… that covers a very wide swath… I sort of believe we (humans of the last 12,000 years or so) may actually not be the first, or only, sentient beings to live here.
But then, I do watch a lot of crap on the telly😂.

Wait, the question was about superstitions. NO. But I’ve been known to say “Pins & Needles” on occasion.

I ain’t superstitious, but
a black cat just crossed my path

Am I? Well I don’t know. I think just growing up hearing why i should not do things due to bad luck, has led me to somehow believed is true and avoid them. Here is a few.
* don’t walk under a ladder (7 years bad luck)
*don’t open umbrella inside the house bad luck.
*don’t sweep when a relative travels far away ( bad luck for them.
* when sweeping never sweep people’s feet or they will marry a widow
* you step on the cat tail, you will never get marry.
*If a cup breaks (perhaps some bad is going to happen.
*hear the owl at midnight? Oh yeah definitely bad news coming..lol
*don’t put flowers on the ear! You Die!
One of my favorite ones is, if your dog is laying on his back with feet up, visitors are coming home that day.
*if you don’t want visitors at your home put a broom behind the door. Lol
*dont want bad energy enter your home, you hang a whole buch of garlic cloves behind door.
When a relative die, in most latin countries the vigil is done at home, with the body present in coffin, so when the person in a coffin leaves your home to cemetery for buriel the feet must be facing out first, otherwise soon after all relatives die.
Dios mio! I did not realize how many things I know, and have lots more.
Tell me yours!
