It’s great! as long as there is no injury to people or damage to homes, etc.

I went to bed around 4:30 am, so I was asleep when the thunder woke me.
I got up to check on the cat, and she was sitting in the living room looking at me.
She didn’t seem to be too concerned, so I fed her and went back to bed and slept
for another hour. Life is good.

Some loud stuff, wow. Some will say it’s due to climate crisis.

having grown up in the midwest, I loved lightning and thunder (particularly the loud booming crack in the sky). Of course, as a kid, it scared the heck out of me. Well, I was walking the dog this morning, and saw the flash of lightning and realized I need to get in straight away, when there was the huge boom and my poor dog made sure we got home post haste. If my wife was walking him, it would have looked like a boat pulling a fallen water skier. I am well over 250, and let’s just say the power he used to pull demonstrated he was determined to get home. But I digress. I like thunder and lightning (Donder and Blitzen -actually I believe bliksem is the actual translation).
