No, that’s not the thing. A small nation with limited supply and untested capabilities isn’t going to destroy a country as geographically large as ours, especially given our military’s international presence.
@yoyo, you’re not paying attention. This mission is very different than the last one. This time we took out the monster who threatened us, and killed 40,000 of his own people in the last month. We took him out and his entire command structure, and all his military installations, including ones they didn’t think we knew about. We’ve destroyed ships, planes, missile site, intelligence outposts, and their ability to make war.
No one is mourning the death of Iranian leaders. Problem is we don’t know what comes after them. Iran is still in a position to fight and will do so. I feel for the Iranian people, and I hope they will get a more democratic leader, but that unfortunately is very uncertain now. I have a good friend who is Iranian, her brother still lives there, she emailed that her brother is safe and all are pleased that the several leaders is gone, but they don’t who comes after him.

The Iranians stashed a great deal of nuclear material before we bombed them the first time and could easily make dirty bombs capable of killing thousands.
Also, when the USSR broke up and member countries returned their nukes to Russia some devices and material went missing.
Hostile countries or terrorist groups could already have a few nuclear weapons that could easily be concealed aboard a ship and detonated in an American seaport leaving the rest of our country to guess who did it.
Who knows what biological weapons might be out there too?
Those who claim there is no danger to America are just fooling themselves.
