Winter! hands down … like the biathalon, downhill skiing, the ski jumps, curling (sort of like billiards 🙂 , bobsleds, skeletons, speed ice skating, etc.
Biathlon is an awesome sport. Many medals were won on the last loop.
I really enjoy both, but the USA has stronger representation and higher medal count in the Summer Olympics, so I’m going with Summer.
I like the gymnastics of the Summer Olympics, but I find the Winter Olympics
to be more enjoyable, especially the figure skating.
Winter always!
I even go back on Peacock and watch it.
Summer. Soccer is probably my favorite event. I watched a combined 68 seconds of winter Olympics 2026 and every time I tried it was curling. Lol that game is a joke.
Winter …. By far.
Ice Hockey, curling , bobsled and figure skating.
Between commentator babble and athletes letting their
political views be known, stopped watching Olympics.
Normally summer. However….watching not one, but two, American teams beat canada for gold…topped off by the women’s team and crowd singing the Star Spangled Banner and Jack Hughes unabashedly proclaiming his love for America, made this past winter olympics pretty dang special.
Winter is my favorite, especially bobsled and downhill skiing. Also, the Cortina d’Ampezzo area is beautiful. Driving through the Dolomites is spectacular, right up with the Alps and the Canadian Rockies.
