Pretty much no one voted for this. Look at all the top issues people voted for in the last election – the economy, inflation, abortion, Mexico border security, healthcare, violent crime, etc. Regime change in Iran isn’t on anyone’s list. This does not help the average American in any way and will likely result in the deaths of US service members. This is not America first and is absolutely disgraceful. This is obviously Israel first more than anything. We couldn’t even beat the Taliban after 20 years and thousands of US troops dead. No way we can beat the IRGC from the sky alone anyway.
Let’s be honest. If the Dems were in office we’d still be bombing Iran and the Republicans would be voicing their dissent. In 2017 Trump tore up the nuclear agreement with Iran while falsely claiming Iran was not abiding by it. The rest of the world did not agree including the International Atomic Energy Commission. Trump re-imposed sanctions on Iran so Iran began an enrichment program. USA Today reported “In June 2025, Trump authorized military strikes against Iran’s nuclear program as part of a war Israel, a close U.S. ally, fought with Iran over its support for the militant group Hamas in Gaza. It lasted for 12 days. The White House said at the time that the strikes completely eliminated Iran’s nuclear program.”
Today trump bombed Iran again. Is this to distract from the unreleased parts of the Epstein files, boast support for the 2026 elections or what? Trump can forget about the Nobel Peace Prize he covets.

There have been many past presidents that have taken military
action without declarations of war. Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, the Gulf War,
Afghanistan and recent air strikes come to mind.
The president has the legal authority to deploy forces, he must notify
Congress within 48 hours, and he may maintain military troops for 60
days without authorization from congress. Congress has the sole power
to formally declare war and control military funding.

The US is bound by the UN Charter. The UN Charter prohibits the use of force against another state with only two main exceptions: UN Security Council authorization or self-defense under Article 51. Self-defense under Article 51 requires an armed attack or an imminent one for anticipatory self-defense. There has been no evidence of an imminent Iranian attack and I was told operation Midnight Hammer was a huge success and their nuclear program was destroyed in June. So tell me – what’s the legal justification for this attack?

Iran has been chanting “Death to America and Isreal” since 1979. They do pose an IMMINENT THREAT to the United States Safety and security. Just look at Iran’s past history. If your liberal eyes can’t see it, you are part of the problem. What do you think will happen if Iran got nuclear capabilities? Their whole goal is to destroy the United States and Isreal. Diplomacy has failed. They were not going to stop trying to seek nuclear weapons. They had 47 years for diplomacy. As far as I’m concerned, they should have been eliminated after the 1983 Marine Barracks bombing in Beirut.
I’m not sure what the issue is with the democrats. Obama dropped over 26,000 bombs in just his last year of his presidency without any approval. Where was the threat? Where was the approval. The democrats are just full of hypocrisy.
