Mark still thinks women don’t have the right to vote? The party told him to do something to get the votes of women.

WC—Creeker,
.
Congressman Mark DeSaulnier chose the topic of, “Advancing Women’s Equity,” because March is Women’s History Month.

His announcement doesn’t say anything about Women’s History Month.

WC—Creeker,

Congressman Mark DeSaulnier has been in elective office for 35 years, do you not yet know his motivations and the way he operates? Do you really need his press release to say he chose this topic because it’s Women’s History Month? He’s chosen townhall meeting “themes” in the past that have coincided with designated history months. Are you one of the voters who currently votes for or has voted for Mark DeSaulnier back when he “identified” as a Republican?

I didn’t know he did that based on the type of history month. He should consider younger voters as they might not know he’s done that in the past. It would be helpful to add that detail to his announcements. Something like, “In support of Women’s History Month”. Not everyone has followed the guy for 35 years. Funny, “one of the voters”, trying to put someone in a box are you. I don’t vote along party lines but good for you if you do. Makes it easy for you.

Creating issues out of thin air as usual for the democrat party. News flash, women don’t have a problem voting. Neither do minorities getting ID’s.

Stop with the victim mentality virtue signalling crap already. Or are you just like Gavin and can’t read and got a 960 SAT score? At least you don’t change your accent like Kamala does, depending on if the audience is white or black.

I’m not sure Mark could be more worthless. THIS is the topic he feels he needs to address right now? What has he ever accomplished that directly benefitted members of his district? I’ll wait…..

They get an added pocket-budget for Town Halls. Use it or lose it, I guess.

Ladies, Mark wants to tell you that he is just like you. He had a 650 on his SATs and an 86 on his IQ. And he salts his glass. He wants to help you become equal….. OMG! 🙂

Wouldn’t it be something if no one showed up except Markey, Ruthe, and Jannette? Maybe they would get the message…..

Claude Long,
.
Congressman DeSaulnier always has a full house, which is why he went to RSVP townhalls, as his townhalls were attracting so many people that they were beyond capacity for where they were being held.

The virtue signalers are many.

Can he even define what a woman is?

Lol! Can’t define what a woman is but….

The Fast Act does not affect women’s right to vote it is written in the bill to protect that exact right. Mark thinks we are stupid and can’t read but the Dems think everyone else is stupid…

All this time and they still need a man to coordinate the meeting for them?

I didn’t know women were being denied the right to vote. I’ve seen many many many many women voting during my decades of voting. Where is this happening? When is it happening?

Mark needs to hold a town hall meeting on septic tanks.
When he’s talking about those, everyone will know where he’s coming from.

Sounds like this is the angle marky is going to use against the SAVE Act, that requiring ID is detrimental to women voting. I cannot think of what else he could use, unless he is stuck in 1920 waiting for the 19th Amendment to pass.

Jeff (the other one),
.
Congressman DeSaulnier believes the SAVE Act is “UNAMERICAN.”

Mort DeSourair is a perfect example of how the democrat party is destroying itself from within.

Maybe he should hold it in Iran. Think they need it more.

OMG. Women’s inequality in Orinda. This is his demographic. Angry, white women liberals – and they have to hide where they are meeting. Marky Mark keeps sowing division but pacifying his base.

You know where the real need is for advancing women’s equality ?
It’s in Iran.
Mark oughta get right over there and lead all the Gals in a Burqa Burning.
A whole pile of flaming veils, burkinis and a heap of harabahs!
Get over there and start making a real difference Mark!

He says he’s for women, but why did he vote against releasing who has used taxpayers money to settle sexual harassment suits?

357-65 to keep congressional misconduct under wraps. This you, Mark?

“Here and elsewhere, perpetrators of sexual misconduct should never be shielded from responsibility for their misdeeds,” Chairman Michael Guest, R-Miss., and ranking member Mark DeSaulnier, D-Calif., said.

But, they added, “victims may be retraumatized by public disclosures of interim work product, excerpts of interview transcripts, and certain exhibits. And witnesses, who often only speak to the Committee confidentially or on condition of future anonymity, could fear retaliation if their cooperation is made public.”
