Warm Spell To Grip Bay Area As Heat Risk Builds Later This Week

Temperatures across the San Francisco Bay Area will remain near to slightly above normal this afternoon before a longer stretch of warm weather begins midweek, forecasters said.

In an advisory, the National Weather Service said an extended period of above-normal temperatures is expected to start Wednesday and continue through the weekend. Widespread minor heat risk is forecast from Wednesday through Saturday, with increasing areas of moderate heat risk possible Sunday into early next week.

High temperatures in inland areas are expected to climb into the mid-80s to lower 90s by early next week, while coastal areas will likely see highs ranging from the 70s to mid-80s, according to the advisory.

Forecasters said the warmer conditions could increase the risk of heat-related illness for people sensitive to heat, as well as pets and livestock, especially for those without adequate cooling or hydration.

The warming trend is expected to continue into next week across much of the Bay Area and Central Coast.

Time to get the garden ready

It’s not even supposed to hit 90°. It may be hot for this time of the year, but this “heatwave” isn’t even newsworthy IMO.

I know, they act like the sky is falling!
People have sure become feeble-minded- or maybe the government is hoping we are- to put out such stupid information. We’re not 5 years old we don’t need to be told to take our sweater off or drink water…but they do think they need to tell us. I guess they’re addressing the people that always vote democrat.

Spray on, spray off.

Great design.

What might be even better is to have an outrageously attractive Claycord weather girl do a video forecast for us!

First Sydney Sweeney and now attractive Claycord weather girls……….are you sure you need that chairlift you were talking about?

Sounds as if the lift is already there…

There are pills to help me “get up” the stairs too but they’re addictive and bad for your health!

The climate change enthusiasts must be absolutely giddy.
“See, we told you!”
