Sinners. It is a great movie but scary at the same time. So scary that I had to pause the movie a few times and remind myself that vampire/ghost isn’t real

“Murder, She Wrote”. I DVR this series and have been enjoying the reruns lately. The first six or so seasons were the best, before Jessica moved to New York.

Nothing not a thing on TV or in the theatre has moved the needle…wonder why 🤔

The Pitt – in its second season. It’s about a busy ER in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Each season follows a complete day’s events. Noah Wylie is really good – as are the other actors. Hard to take at times – then we pause and go get snacks.

I really like Landman, especially the societal commentary.
I also like Pitt, but my problem is that when I see Dr Robby, I see Dr John Carter.

I just watched Chato’s Land and enjoyed it more than I thought I would. That is probably the latest movie I have seen. Before that was White Lightning, also enjoyable. Neither would qualify as current…

“Plur1bus”, Vince Gilligan (“Breaking Bad”) spun an intriguing series featuring Rhea Seehorn (“Better Call Saul”).

The Pitt

I watch it. But in reality it is just an “ER” clone with more blood and a Woke sensability. Doesen’t anyone else think it’s funny that Noah Wylie can’t sucessfully play anything other than an ER Doc? Noah is the Executive Producer, and the Producer is the same guy that did “ER”, so by extension it’s really “ER”.

I’ll tell you what it wasn’t …. that “One Battle After Another” movie.
Even tho it was supposedly a comedy…. Geez! It really sucked.
I was sorry I wasted a couple hours watching it.
Total crap.

I’m with everyone on the Pitt. Excellent show
I’ve also been streaming Homicide: Life on the Street on Tubi. Forgot how good that show really was. Next on the Tubi list is Rescue Me
Movie wise, Nuremburg. For get the 1960-something movie this is more of a psychological study. And there is a little psychological called Drop, the villain is so deliciously evil. worth a watch

I love movies, but I don’t go to the movies much anymore. I find some gems on YouTube, or TubiTV, it is free and they have all kinds of great movies, TV shows, documentaries. Right now I’m watching the mini series “Winds of War”, it from 1983 and I saw it when it came out, also read the book. However, it is really good it bears watching again. Another mini series on YouTube that is great is the “Drug Wars, The Kiki Camarena story”. It is riveting, stars Treat William, Craig Nelson and as Kiki, Steven Bauer (if you are female he is very good looking), and Benicio Del Torres as Caro Quintero the notorious drug lord, it is a sad story and based on the book by Elaine Shannon’s book, Desperados. I also have the book, it’s a bit tedious, but lot’s of good information. Although I have the DVD it is also available for free on YouTube “The Last Waltz” the famed farewell concert by The Band, filmed by Scorsese. If you are a music lover and fan of The Band, it is a must. Robbie Robertson, swoon, what a cool, sexy guy. Rick Danko as well, his voice breaks you heart, and Robbie’s lyrics, nothing like it.
