An 85-year-old man was held in connection with a fatal stabbing in a domestic dispute in Bay Point, the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office said.
Rogelio Barajas Martinez of Bay Point was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility on one count of murder, the Sheriff’s Office said. He is being held in lieu of $1 million bail.
Deputies were called to a home in the 100 block of Riverside Place about 4:27 p.m. Wednesday and found a man and a woman suffering from stab wounds, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
The man was taken to a local hospital; the woman, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The woman who died was in a romantic relationship with the 85 year old, she was 60.
The guy that was injured was apparently her new love interest.
