A Concord woman has been charged in connection with a DUI-related hit-and-run crash that killed a Pleasant Hill woman earlier this month.
The Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office announced that 45-year-old Angelina Marina Solis faces multiple felony charges, including gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, DUI causing injury, and leaving the scene of a fatal crash.
Authorities say the crash occurred around 1:49 a.m. on March 8 in Pleasant Hill, when Solis allegedly ran a red light at Contra Costa Boulevard and Taylor Boulevard, striking a woman in a marked crosswalk. The victim, a 41-year-old Pleasant Hill resident, died at the scene.
Investigators say Solis fled but was later located and arrested. She initially posted bail but was taken back into custody after appearing in court and pleading not guilty to all charges. Bail is now set at $350,000.
She is scheduled to return to court for a preliminary hearing on March 27 in Martinez.
The victim was a friend of all the real ass people in P.Hill/Pacheco. She was known as “T”.
Someone tell J. Bars about this article, as he was right there walking with T when this evil drunk biotch ran the red and killed T.
