Live in Clayton, so I say Clayton. Grew up here, got married moved to antioch and watched that city deteriorate. High density housing, section 8 and crime went up. City councils over the years bear blame for most of what happened in antioch. Moved back to Clayton.
I just recently moved to Clayton and its the absolute best. Everything about this place is the best. Except no freeway access thats the single only knock
USA JIM,

At one time Ygnacio Valley Road was supposed to a part of the State Route system. Ignacio Valley Road, Kirker Pass Road, and Railroad Avenue were to become a State Route, which included a bridge connecting Pittsburg to Montezuma in southern Solano County, traveling through Birds Landing and connecting with SR113 to Dixon where it would connect to I80. An alternative route would’ve taken it from Montezuma and Birds Landing directly to I80 just outside of Sacramento.

Yes I’d have to say Clayton! And it’s well deserved! Not just a most beautiful location but really special people that really care about their community! I wish I still lived there!

Clayton! We moved to Concord from San Jose, lived there for 3 years and then found and fell in love with Clayton. We bought our current house in Clayton in 1977 and see no reason to move. The only downside, as was previously mentioned, is the distance from the freeway. I figure that I’ve driven close to 200,000 miles on YVR.
