DeSaulnier Claims $46.7M In Local Project Funding, But Approval Not Guaranteed

Congressman Mark DeSaulnier says he has advanced more than $46.7 million in proposed federal funding for projects across Contra Costa and Alameda counties, according to an announcement released this week.

The funding, which still requires approval from the U.S. House Committee on Appropriations and is not guaranteed, would support 20 projects focused on transportation, infrastructure, public safety and community development, DeSaulnier claims.

According to the announcement, proposed projects include roadway safety upgrades, bicycle and pedestrian improvements, emergency operations and communications enhancements, and investments in youth programs and wastewater infrastructure.

If approved, the funding would be distributed to local agencies and cities throughout the region as part of the federal appropriations process.

Who cares how many stale farts this guy mouths out. He has been in position for years and this is the results we have for supporting him. Enough is enough vote this loser out of office who cares what he says now he is and was the pied piper of what currently exists, why reward his efforts and let him keep his job. Would you be able to keep yours with years of crap returns!?! We all know the answer to that so let’s hold Marky accountable and send him packing!!!

Great, another Noversight donation to the grifter class. Proposed projects include this, that, and the other thing. Way to go, Congressman DeSaulnier! Keep ’em coming, babe.

I know it is helpful that they have reduced the width of the lanes to accommodate the .00001% of traffic riding their bikes. It makes one feel like their rep is really going to bat for them…

bddp,
.
The bike lanes are a state mandate, not a federal mandate. However, in 2008, then California State Assemblyman Mark DeSaulnier voted for California’s “Complete Streets” bill that was signed into law by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Funding “would be distributed” – Mark is running again time to announce payouts to all his woke and lobby buddies and shady non-profits to signal for their votes and financial support. Wonder if there will be a % for his illegals too? Would not be surprised he has been fleecing taxpayers for years and not getting anything done. It’s time for him to go!

Here We Go!!! What that means in commiecrat speak is 10% in funding to actual projects and the other 90% in his pocket to push agendas and lobbyist and mansions and vacations because he is the poster child of FECKLESS!!!!!

Until funds are approved, DON’T boast,
makes you seem desperate for votes.

When they talk about infrastructure they are usually referring to gender studies etc.
