As long as the kids and staffs get the week off, I could care less.

Agree, …either way.

What they should do is go back to calling it Easter vacation. In the
eighth century, Easter was named after Eostre, the goddess of the
dawn and of the renewal of life. Christians later adapted the name to
represent the resurrection of Christ.
The name spring came about in the sixteenth century when it was called
springing time. This means the name of Easter came first, and it should
remain Easter because it takes precedence over spring. To answer the
question, leave the vacation time as it is. I believe in the old adage,
“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”

Do parents really get angry and argue about this? Why does it matter.

Seems like schools are always on some holiday or break. No wonder kids learning curve is on a downward trend!

agree! and the teacher “pep days” !? How many do they need? Not that many…. back when I went to public school in socal – we didn’t get a “spring Break” or Easter Break – whatever you want to call it …. we had the week of Thanksgiving and 2 weeks at Christmas – otherwise 9/15 to 6/15. NO Teacher prep days.

WWJD?
