A magnificent job by NASA and everyone involved with Artemis! It’s about time that we are getting back to human exploration.

Well worth it!
I kept waiting for it to run into a huge Saguaro cactus, though 😉

There is a street in the Excelsior District named after him. Norton St
is a block long and runs between Mission St and Alemany Blvd.

Just got doused with a pretty impressive little rainstorm in Concord. No need to water for awhile.

Rain Gauge Data Table

.
I also check out graph for Lake Oroville lake level,
can compare past years with this year. Less than
14 feet from being full.

In a heavy rain step outside and look at your gutters
where roof valleys empty into them. Is rainwater
overshooting gutter because of valley concentrating
rain water. Consider installing diverters
Got 4 for about $20
.
Have Large tree in front yard, roots sought out moisture
got larger. Finally figured out why my front porch
concrete slab has shifted two inches away from the house.

To follow up on a comment I made a couple/few weeks ago. 4 minutes about Renewable Energy:
BEWARE:
Renewable, Expensive, Shortlived, & NOT Recyclable!

https://youtu.be/htXOJ2pc7F0?si=whcn0S5idoutItTK

PG&E should be paying us to compensate for the irreversible destruction they will load onto
our children’s future by demanding we move to use only Electricity.

(at every opportunity, Vote to dig coal which is now 100% usable, right down to the last carbon molecule~~no waste and no recycling needed!
AND don’t let them get by with selling our oil and gas right out from under US…while making us
build windmills in the ocean!

No. this is not about Politics. Well maybe a little bit. It’s about American survival in a bleeping
EPA crazy world.

That 5.7 earthquake near Silver Springs Nevada was widely felt out here in the Far East (County that is) .
My tribe felt it & ceiling fans wobbled a bit, so I checked USGS website and there it was… + 3 aftershocks (now it’s up to about 36 aftershocks).
Local yokels on Facebook were reporting it too.
Any of you on the other side of the hills feel it?

In past 24 hours 126 earthquakes
USGS website set to the area of quakes

I don’t even feel the ones that are local. The last quake I felt was in 1989. Whether I’m keeping busy, living on solid foundation, sleeping through them, or they just don’t phase me, something is going on. I really do live in the Bay Area…

Just got around to reading “Whatever”.
Didn’t feel it in Clayton, but my kid in Reno sure did. Sent an email with the link to the USGS site. 5.7 is a pretty sizable shake.

IF speed violation cameras are ever installed in Claycord area.
WE GOTTA try THIS . . . . . .
