State Senator Tim Grayson has withdrawn his endorsement of Congressman Eric Swalwell following recent reports of sexual assault allegations.
In a brief statement sent to an unknown amount of people over email, Grayson said, “I am rescinding my endorsement of Congressman Swalwell due to recent reports of sexual assault published by the San Francisco Chronicle.” Grayson had previously backed Swalwell, making his decision one of the latest developments in the growing political fallout surrounding the allegations. The reports, published by the San Francisco Chronicle, have prompted increasing scrutiny of Swalwell and led some political figures to distance themselves from the congressman.
Well if Tim Grayson rescinds his endorsement, then it’s all over for fartypants. Who is Tim Grayson again? Oh yeah, the guy that changed parties so he could get elected because Californians only vote for people with a D after their name, no matter how terrible they’ll be for governance. The biggest of all integrity flip-flops. (*and also a useless former mayor of Concord)

Swalwell is a lawyer, so he should know better than to put anything
in writing that can be used against him. Apologizing for his mistakes
in judgment can be used by the prosecution as an admission of guilt.
