The one thing I would change would be political leadership – bring in someone reasonable, logical, with common sense. Then hopefully they would be be able to fix the high CA tax and traffic problem, housing only where it makes sense without contributing to traffic gridlock, and actually manage the CPUC, water & power utilities, insurance companies (Home, auto, etc.), and the teacher’s union – instead of them controlling Sacramento.
It’s size. It should be North and South California. The two have different needs. Of course there are others who want to dice it up more.
NO, then frisco and bezerkley would be in northern California.

it would be so much fun to mess with them, once
conservative common sense takes hold, I’d invest in psychiatric

hold a super majority of the state legislature and that governor.

Simple fact, there is NO Adult Supervision of state legislature
or governor.

If I could change one thing, I’d round up every illegal invader and
permanently deport them. Deporting the millions of people that
have absolutely no legal right to reside in the United States will
automatically solve many of the other problems. Traffic will lighten
up, more housing will become available, and more jobs will open
up to American citizens. Jobs like roofing, street repair, landscaping,
construction, restaurants and hospitality just to name a few are jobs
that have been taken over by illegal invaders. It will also have a huge
effect on taxes when the state no longer has to pay for their education,
and health care. Deporting them will also save water when they are not
here to use any of it.
California provides services to illegal aliens that cost state taxpayers over $31 billion per year. They aren’t supposed to be here, so if California is no longer enforcing the laws I guess just do whatever you want.

My gripe is property tax, it’s outrageous…. I pay over $8,000 per year.
Add that to $4,000 for home insurance and it gets kinda tough for us old folks to retire.

democrats to turn against illegals is to NOT allow illegals to be
included in 2030 Census.

One other thing, after they are deported, they can never apply to
immigrate legally. They have already demonstrated that they do not
respect our laws when they snuck into the United States and applied
for employment knowing full well that it is illegal for them to work in
the USA. Once they have disregarded our laws, they have shown
that they cannot be trusted to ever live in the United States again.

And…when a Jury hands down a Sentence… after a brief due diligence, of course… the Sentence
would STICK.
I don;t believe there’s anyplace in law that says: ” What the Jury of peers decided, unless some
politicians disagree–or the jail is too crowded.”

It’s nice to see you posting again.
California is expensive to live in, but one change I would love to see is the gasoline tax we pay eliminated or cut to ten cents per gallon. Think of how much we would save. I know that someone is going to say, go to an EV. After one buys an EV, install a wall charger and charges the car at home is the savings really there? If it is, it’s not much especially if the Gasoline tax is reduced or dropped.
But now we’re going to get a mileage tax for every vehicle to make up for all the lost revenue from the tax on gasoline that Electric Vehicles don’t use!
Do away with illegal voting.
Reduce the population.
One party rule! Cause the rest of the world is laughing because the citizens of Cali are solely paying the price of “climate change”. We have destroyed the gas industry at the alter of this madness and even China uses gas and coal. We are led by the lunatic left morons. They can’t grasp that we are alone on this and ONE state ain’t gonna change the “worlds “ climate!
