No
Newsom will pardon him

Ha ha, no worries! Newsom won’t be able to pardon Eric Swalwell if the trial starts sometime next year.

George,
.
Governor Newsom can always preemptively pardon former Congressman Eric Swalwell, so he wouldn’t have to wait until a trial or conviction, but he’d also never pardon him anyway, as that would destroy Governor Newsom’s presidential aspirations.

15

Rcp,
.
If it’s a federal crime, then Governor Newsom can’t pardon former Congressman Swalwell.

19

Yes. He has been accused, and is being criminally investigated in several states
and locations, if he is found guilty he should be put away for a very long time.
The courts should have absolutely zero tolerance for men that hurt women.

29
7

No, that “70’s Show” actor Danny Masterson is doing 30 years in a California Prison for the same kind of crimes against Women, but He was not a Congressman, so Swalwell is get off a lot lighter.

no…. politicos find a way out …. look at our president – convicted felon…. I know I’ll get flack on that – but facts are facts… don’t want to ignore the facts – right?

15
36

Trump is a convicted felon BECAUSE facts were ignored…..right?

20
6

the facts are the facts? cut the crap. The charges were only made a felony for him, anyone else would have a minor misdemeanor charge. Felons go to jail or at very least have a new piece of jewelry on their ankle… he had neither. Nothing more than political theater pushed by the media.

19
9

but facts are facts… don’t want to ignore the facts – right”

FACTS really according to who you!?! Obviously those that voted for him are tired of the constant mainstream media lies and fake news reported.

15
3

…sounds like some are ignoring the facts – whether they want to believe the legal record or not

6
2

Nah….you’re just getting the flak you expected.

domo,
.
President Trump was not only indicted and convicted, but he was also sentenced to an “Unconditional Discharge.”

Why not? The judge did.

2
2

Who knew when Eric said he protects women it meant he wore a condom. Some of the accusers stories indicate he used a ‘date rape’ drug. Give ’em 20 years plus damages.

14
2

Nope too easy leave him locked up in a room with his victims and their families. Let’s see who emerges!

5
4

NOPE. Government and THE BIG CLUB are only concerned about Serious threats such as Martha Stewart!!!

24

Has anybody been arrested in the Epstein files?

9
5

Kim,
.
Andrew (Saxe-Coburg-Gotha) Mountbatten-Winsor, formerly known as Prince Andrew, Duke of York, former British Ambassador to the United States Lord Peter Mandelson, Baron Mandelson, former Secretary-General of the European Council and former Prime Minister of Norway Thorbjorn Jagland, and former Norwegian Minister of Administration and Planning Terje Rod-Larson and his wife, former Norwegian Ambassador to Iraq and Jordan Mona Juul have all appeared in the “Epstein Files” and were all arrested.

11

… noticeably absent – any Americans

domo,
.
So far, as far as I know. As I’ve said here before, the information that the American public wants to see is in the classified Epstein files, not the publicly released declassified Epstein files. I’d imagine our government would first have to investigate any information released in the declassified public Epstein files, which should take some amount of time, if it’s investigated at all. Those that I previously mentioned seem to have been arrested and/or charged with “public corruption” charges because of government information that they shared with Jeffrey Epstein.

Nothing ever happens to corrupt politicians that break the law. Just look at the Clinton’s, Nancy, Newscum, China Joe Biden and the Biden crime family, ……

What has Nancy Pelosi been accused of? Or Newsom (calling him Newscum is juvenile). Trump was accused and convicted, why is he not on your list. Having said that, the accusations were flimsy, and I agree that some were out to get him, but the same can be said for Clinton as well. What about George Santos, Rick Scott of Florida convicted of Medicare fraud, and this week a republican congressman from Texas resigned as well due to sexual misconduct. Stop acting like the republicans are 100 percent pure, each party have a certain number of scumbags. Robert Menendez(D) was sentenced to 11 years in prison. So far no one has pardoned him, nor does he deserve a pardon.

Hanne Jeppesen,
.
I think former Speaker of the House and current Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi was listed because she’s been accused of insider trading.
.
President Trump was not only indicted and convicted, but he was also sentenced to an “Unconditional Discharge.”
.
Senator Rick Scott wasn’t convicted of Medicare fraud, the company he ran was convicted of Medicare fraud.
.
Former Congressman Tony Gonzalez retired to avoid expulsion because he has admitted of having an extramarital affair with a staffer who later committed suicide. While former Congressman Eric Swalwell resigned to avoid expulsion and has admitted to having multiple extramarital affairs, hiring prostitutes, sexual harassment of staffers, drugging staffers, sexual assault of staffers, rape of staffers, misappropriation of campaign funds, employing an illegal alien, and mortgage fraud.

Yes Hanne, what has Nancy done wrong? Her 400 million dollar net worth is just a coincidence, considering the salary of congress person. Of course theres been no insider trading on her part, whatsoever. Keep burying your head in the sand, Hanne.
p.s. Who said anything about republicans being pure?
p.s.s. Newscum? Not all of us believe in showing respect for someone who has basically treated the citizens of the state he took an oath to serve like dog dirt.

Nancy Pelosi came from a fairly well to do family, and her husband is a business man. Having said that I heard former KGO radio host John Rothmann (who knows Nancy personally) having a problem with the information available to senators and congressmen that allows them to take advantage of certain opportunities, which could be construed as insider trading, and it is not only democrats but also republicans.

4
3

It’s still wrong no matter which party they belong to.
“could be construed as insider trading” LoL!
It is BLATANT insider trading!

The swamp exists on both sides of the aisle. Trump was elected to drain the swamp, and the swamp is doing everything they can to prevent him, which explains the phony-felony conviction.

3
2

How much did Nancy herself make in stock investment profits during her political career? She is corrupt by taking advantage of her political position and power to make herself very wealthy, regardless of her family’s position and her husband’s job.

Hanne Jeppesen,
.
Former U.S. Senator Robert Menendez did ask President Trump for a pardon for himself and his wife. I doubt that President Trump would pardon Robert Menendez and his wife, the best that they can hope to get from President Trump would be commutations. I’m surprised that Robert and Nadine Menendez weren’t pardoned by President Biden before leaving office given their friendship.

Cartoonist’s take, on the situation.
.
Intense investigations should be focused, on determining if congressional’
position and that of schiff’, conspired in efforts against President Trump.
.
To have such a huge amount of effort expended to “destroy” a single
individual, is good indicator of immense fear career swamp creatures
have of President Trump. Preferential treatment given to mega rich,
large corporations, unions, get in return for large campaign
contributions could be permanently damaged.
.

I have learned that it bears a striking resemblance to the first”

If in a court of law is found guilty of rape, yes absolutely. And hopefully a president no matter what party will not pardon him, unlike what happened to George Santos, and others who were convicted.

11

hanne jeppesen,
.
At least former Congressman George Santos served 3 months in prison before being pardoned.

7
1

Yes. He and trump should share a cell.

3
11

Why should they share a cell? In Trump’s bookkeeping case, there were no victims. In Swalwell’s assault/rape case, there are allegedly multiple victims.

4
2

Cyn,
.
Former Congressman Swalwell has also been accused of misappropriation of campaign funds, mortgage fraud, and hiring an illegal alien.

Trump? For what? For not being a coddling feckless democrat?

5
4

No. Methinks the point of all this was to get him out of the race for guv of CA. Success. They will go through the motions, the girls will be paid for their stories. eric knows too much about his other colleagues and his character is of the sort who will sing like a bird if he is not taken care of (and I don’t mean in a hillary way), he’ll throw as much dirt as he can, and why not, his “party” turned on him in no time. The stories and timing of them just sound a little too pat.

6
6

Yup. Believe all women right Eric? Adios Newscum 2.0. Another democrat governor will be the death of us all btw.

6
6

YES!!!

Should he and will he are two different conversations. Should he? Yes. Will he? No.
