One resident was hospitalized early Wednesday morning after a fire broke out at a home in Pleasant Hill, authorities said.
The Pleasant Hill Police Department said officers responded at about 3:15 a.m. to reports of a fire in the 400 block of Roberta Avenue. Fire crews from the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District arrived and extinguished the blaze.
A resident sustained minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment, authorities said.
No additional details about the cause of the fire were immediately available.
