Yes. Add to it, slippers. Shows a sign of laziness,
don’t care attitude. Pretty clear what pajamas still
look like.

You’re exactly right, Bella. And you can add sloppiness to that. Unless you’re walking into a hospital in that attire, I believe it is extremely rude and disrespectful to any business. When I was a teenager, I never had the desire to wear pajamas outside the house, and if I had, my parents would never have allowed it.

Not rude just classless.

Is it okay to wear Spandex stretched to the point that it’s a see-through material in public?

That depends entirely on who’s wearing it.

Ask the men in spandex riding their bikes up and down Mount Diablo.

Rude? Yes. But far worse, it reflects very poorly on how you were raised; creating a total lack of
self-respect.

19

yes – shows absolutely no self respect – if you wear pj’s in public don’t expect any respect for you from others either

16

Yes it is!! It conveys an “I Just Don’t Care” message to people around you. Very Lame

Yes it does!! it sends an “I just don’t care” message to all those around them!!

It may be inappropriate, but not rude.

I’ve been noticing this growing trend!
I’ve been thinking: what the hell is wrong with these people!
( Must be liberal democrats 🙂

No. It’s OK if you’re wearing a nice robe or smoking jacket over silk jammies… slippers or good moccasins …. but not if you’re buying booze & condoms, they’ll kick you out of the drug store if you do that, especially if you’re talking up all the female customers.

I don’t think it’s as rude as it seems; it shows a complete lack of self-respect in the wearer.
If a person has so little respect for themselves, how much respect can they have for others?
It comes down to character values.
It shows clearly those who have no character values and those who do.

Absolutely unacceptable in my personal opinion. Unless you are under the age of 6, and it is late in the day (close to bed time) or early in the morning, just take 5 minutes and get yourself dressed and leave the slippers at home.

I would classify them as too stupid to realize how brainless, and
impudent they appear to be. But I’d rather see someone in their
PJ’s than some uncouth moron wearing their pants below their
butt cheeks with their drawers hanging out.
They all have the IQ of a squid.

I don’t think it’s rude, it’s just tacky and not a good way to present yourself.

It’s a sign of being lazy and no self respect. In High Schools, the kids are leaving home in their pajamas and slippers and the parents are ok with this????

This is such an American thing to do. In European and Slavic countries, you dress up when leaving home, regardless of destination (my personal experience)

I see “lounge pants” as the same thing as pajama bottoms. In your house it’s fine but outside no.

It’s ok if you are under two years, otherwise you are a complete boob.

I wouldn’t say rude, but ludicrous, in most cases.

If you want to represent yourself that way and non-verbally tell people you have no self respect and you don’t care how you look…. go ahead. It’s not rude to me. You’re just advertising how you feel about yourself. Don’t be offended if someone calls you a slob.
