Monday is the last day to register to vote in California’s statewide primary election to be held June 2.

California residents can check to see if they are registered at the Secretary of State’s My Voter Status at voterstatus.sos.ca.gov
The site also can identify where residents are registered, political party and language preferences and polling places.

Prospective voters can register online with the Secretary of State at registertovote.ca.gov by 11:59 p.m. Monday.

Residents can also register on paper forms available at their county elections office, library, Department of Motor Vehicles offices, or U.S. post office. They must be dropped off with the county elections office by Monday or mailed with a postmark of Monday or earlier.

Eligible voters who miss the deadline still have the option of same-day registration and casting a provisional ballot at any polling place.
