Cyn,

I have to say that Governor Gavin Newsom comes across as one unhappy and miserable man!!! He may actually be the most unhappy and negative presidential candidate to have received a party nomination since Richard Nixon. His wife, “the First Partner of California,” definitely hurts his campaign.
Oh man, don’t even get me started on his wife. If I’m sure about anything, it’s that those two definitely deserve each other.

I was glad to see Attorney General Pam Bondi go, because she was absolutely horrible at her job!!!

I was also glad to see Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem go and be reassigned because she put the country at risk with her decade long extramarital affair with her subordinate, Senior Advisor to the Secretary of Homeland Security Corey Lewandowski, and I’m glad that he also went away, and I’m glad that Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs in the United States Department of Homeland Security Tricia McLaughlin also left after her husband’s company received a $220 million contract to promote Kristi Noem’s tenure as Secretary of Homeland Security.

Are there any Democrats out there that can explain why the Democrat politicians like Oboma, Biden, Newscum, Waltz(and others), ignored and did absolutely nothing about the horrendously massive ongoing healthcare fraud, which has result In the theft of massive sums of taxpayer dollars?
Any?
did you forget that Donald J. Trump was president from Jan 2017 until Jan 2021? why didn’t his first administration uncover some of this fraud, waste and abuse? this massive waste of taxpayer $ added tremendously to the national debt and has made the USA a significantly weaker nation.
@Kimsee
So, in other words, you cannot explain why those-mentioned politicians ignored the massive fraud.
it actually explainable. the federal government has been granting $ forever to US states and foreign countries. the federal government has relied on the recipients (states or foreign countries) to monitor and stop waste fraud and abuse. in some cases they actually ignore the problem for political purposes. the current administration is changing that by aggressively prosecuting those entities that are illegally using the grants. it all started with DOGE early in this administration. let’s hope it continues and eliminates as much waste fraud and abuse as possible
Sorry, Kimsee, but I don’t believe the federal government relied on recipients who received money, to stop waste, fraud, and abuse. In fact, the powers that be in this state are trying to prevent exactly that. Mia Bonta, the wife of California Attorney General Rob Bonta, wrote a bill to try to stop Nick Shirley and others from uncovering the rampant fraud flowing throughout the state.
Kimsee,
.
The government, federal, state, local, and special districts, should get out of the business of funding Non-Profit Organizations (NPOs) and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs)!!!
Kimsee, Trump’s 1st term Trump spent too much time defending himself with impeachment charges, and everything they could throw at him. Purposely done by Democrats. Now he has some help with a few smart people to uncover frauds.
@Max Can you possibly paint a more infantile picture? This is not a serious reply is it?
@ Cautiously Informed, you laid out quite a large item to make a claim about. “Ongoing” would referr to something happening now. The fraud that happened under Walz, those people have or are serving time for it. How is that not addressed?
I mean, its also a misnomer assigning any of it to any one politician in general. Exceptions do exist though, Rick Scott (Republican Senator of Florida) was CEO of a company that was indicted for $1.7billion dollars in health care fraud.
I’m aware of the accusation of fraud in this state around hospice, but you know what rhe solution to the fraud model that has been going on in the other examples is? Universal Healthcare. Get rid of the middle man. It won’t completely eliminate fraud, but it would take care of a lot of issues.
If you want a more specific answer, make a more specific claim.
Objector. My reply was referring to Trump’s 1st term, why the massive fraud was not uncovered during his 1st term. Impeachment and all the things they accused Trump of-if he didn’t have to spend hours –and so many months on defending himself-he’d have had lots of time to do more. Plus he did not have DOGE and those smart people investigating fraud during his 1st term.
So what you are saying is politicians have no responsibility, and it’s OK for them to ignore massive fraud when it occurs while under their watch. Got it.
Most of it started with the Democrats wide open borders policy(even for criminals, terrorists and child molesters).
The ‘it’s all Trump fault’ blame game doesn’t work for that situation.
Standing up to and do something about the countries and groups that want to destroy us is making us a weaker nation?

Reminder of how ridiculous CA air standards are – while the rest of the country is far more reasonable …. as we know CA usually has quite a number of wildfires each year – some to hundreds of thousands of acres … the fire on one of the Farallon Islands recently was 14,000 acres – mild in comparison but still bad – it released about 373,333 metric tons of C2 & 1,153 metric tons of HC – equivalent to 81,159 vehicles emissions ANNUALLY! What we do (CA gas blend for example- is a nit compared to what’s being released into the air by natural means! More of Sacto’s green PR cxxp!

domo,

The settlement only applies to taxes filed prior to May 19, 2026, not future taxes. President Donald J. Trump Sr., Donald J. Trump Jr., Eric F. Trump, and the Trump Organization, LLC were all a part of the lawsuit. If you don’t like the settlement, then you should place blame on former Internal Revenue Service Contractor Charles E. Littlejohn for ILLEGALLY leaking the tax records of President Trump and many others, for which he’s currently serving a 5-year prison sentence.
.
The $1.77 billion lawfare and weaponization fund is a part of the settlement between President Trump, his sons, and businesses, where they agreed to drop their $10 billion lawsuit against the Department of the Treasury and the Internal Revenue Service, with prejudice, along with making other concessions, due to Charles E. Littlejohn illegally leaking tax records having to do with President Trump. Why did you vote against our judicial system? If you don’t like the $1.77 billion lawfare and wesponization fund, would you prefer that President Trump, his sons, and business be paid $10 billion directly? If you don’t like the settlement, the only person that you should be blaming is Charles E. Littlejohn for his illegal actions.
.
Whether you like the Arlington, Virginia “Independence Arch” or not, the $15 million that the National Endowment for the Humanities will be contributing towards the project, would be spent on some other project, if not the “Independence Arch.” You could dislike the other project where this $15 million WOULD BE SPENT even less than you like the “Independence Arch.”
The Black Knight’s favorite theme “if you don’t like it, don’t blame Trump, blame so and so”.
Donald Trump and his son’s net worth have nearly doubled since his re-election, largely due to insider trading. Who should I blame for that, Nancy Pelosi?
Forbes claims Trump more than doubled his net worth, but doesn’t mention anything about insider trading, but a lot about Crypto, Truth Social, and golf courses. Forbes also claimed that Pelosi’s trading undermined the people’s trust. And due toTrump being impeached, sued, having his home raided, and getting shot, people have been supporting him by purchasing his products online and in his stores. It all adds up. Capitalism is wonderful.
Nvidia, Oracle, Boeing, Palantir, Axon – Trump invested millions in these stocks right before they gained government contracts or consideration.
A lot of people did, not just Trump. He and his family are under a microscope, and they know it.
yoyohop,

NO LEAK, NO LAWSUIT!!!
.
Well, bless your heart, you believe a free adult American man has control over what his free adult American sons do in their lives.
Trump also lost almost 40% of his wealth his first term, but that has been conveniently forgotten.
yoyohop,
.
You can blame President Trump all you want to. I place the blame on the person who caused the problem, not the person who responded to the problem that was caused by someone else.
Domo is correct. Trump now effectively has immunity from audits for life.
This is because of the overly broad wording of the judgement. “FOREVER BARRED and PRECLUDED” from pursuing claims or examinations involving matters that “were raised or COULD HAVE been raised” as of the settlement’s effective date. Trump’s tax lawyers will milk this wording for all its worth if audited.
Combine this unprecedented ruling with Trump’s insider trading and the level of corruption is shocking. Too bad that Team Trump is too brainwashed to call out the hypocrisy.
yoyohop,
.
Federal law, under the PTFATA, already requires a president’s tax returns to be audited annually.
.
If you don’t like family members of presidents earning money while in office, then lobby Congress to pass a law that would pay the family members of president’s double, triple, or some other formula, of their previous highest yearly income of the last 5-years that they worked, in exchange for them not working while their family member is the president. Now, family members of president’s couldn’t be forced to accept this income in exchange for not working, but it’s at least an option to keep them out of the workforce.
.
You could lobby Congress to pass a law that would require the parties to only nominate candidates for president who are siblingless, have a spouse who’s also siblingless, and the couple would have to be childless.
.
Or do you have some other method of preventing the family members of president’s from being in the workforce while their family member is the president?
Eric Trump’s wealth rose from roughly $40M–$50M to around $400M
Don Jr.’s from roughly $40M–$50M to around $300M during the reelection/second-term period.
Trump’s boys invested heavily in drone and defense companies right before the Iran war.
Trump himself invested millions in companies that directly benefited from his decisions as president.
How long is the Black Knight going to bury his head in the sand?
yoyohop,
.
How do expect to stop the children and other family members of a president from being in the workforce and investing their money in businesses?
.
Then wouldn’t it have been more profitable for the Trump’s had the bombing in Iran never stopped?
Eric and Junior being in the “workforce”? You can’t be serious can you?
War profiteering is considered being in the workforce?
yoyohop,
.
If you don’t think Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump managing and overseeing the operations of the Trump Organization and their separate employment dealings outside of the Trump Organization as being in the “workforce,” then that’s how you see it.
.
You apparently have quite a bit of information about Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump engaging in “war profiteering,” you should share it all with us.
.
Under your definition, I’d also be a “war profiteer” for having purchased the stocks of defense contractors and weapons manufacturers.
yoyohop,
.
The wealth estimates of the Trump children has been all over the place, which is why they’re estimates.
.
Some estimates had Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump with net worths of $350 million each prior to the 2024 election.
.
I’ll concede that the optics of some of the investments made by the Trump children don’t look great, but bad optics doesn’t mean illegal activities.
.
Please, share with us all of the information and evidence that you possess showing us all of the illegal investments made by the Trump children.
.
If you don’t like the current system, then maybe you should lobby Congress to pass a law that requires all family members of a president to submit quarterly financial disclosure reports.
.
You’ve been really good at making claims of wrongdoing, but you haven’t supplied us with proof of anything other than bad optics and you haven’t provided us with any solutions to prevent possible wrongdoing by family members of a president.
.
Do you not remember these presidential family members: Hunter Biden, Jim Biden, Frank Biden, Valerie Biden Owens, Omar Obama, Neil Bush, Roger Clinton, Neil Bush again, Billy Carter, Don Nixon, Ed Nixon, and their scandals, among many others.
Greg,
.
Fine, use the word “agreement,” rather than “settlement,” even though a settlement means “to reach an agreement.” Why didn’t you have a problem with yoyohop referring to this “agreement” as a “judgment” and “ruling?”
.
In exchange for the Department of Justice setting up the $1.776 billion “lawfare and weaponization fund,” President Donald J. Trump Sr., Donald J. Trump Jr., Eric F. Trump, and the Trump Organization, LLC agreed to drop the $10 billion lawsuit against the Internal Revenue Service and two $230 million lawsuits related to the raid at Mar-a-lago.
.
As a result of the “agreement” and under PTFATA, President Trump’s future taxes are required to be audited as long as he’s president.
.
I never demanded “government handouts for convicted felons,” now did I! I also never said that I was for this “settlement,” did I!
.
Well, look at that, you had to result to name calling, labeling me as “MAGA,” in your attempt to win your argument. There’s plenty of things President Trump has done that I’ve liked, as there’s plenty of things that he’s done that I haven’t liked, just like almost every other president in my lifetime.

At least Congressman Barney Frank wasn’t involved in the 1983 Congressional Page sex scandal. Democratic Congressman Gerry Studds was found to have engaged in a sexual relationship with a 17-year old male House Page, whom he married decades later, and Republican Congressman Dan Crane was found to have engaged in a sexual relationship with a 17-year old female House Page. The Democrat was rewarded with reelection to an additional 7-terms in Congress, while the Republican was defeated in the next election. Congressman Gerry Studds was also representing Massachusetts alongside Congressman Barney Frank.
Probably not alongside.
He was behind him all the way.
Trump sued his own IRS because supposedly someone leek his tax info. This week the Trump’s acting AG settles the suet by granting Trump and his whole family immunity from any IRS audits plus Trump’s DOJ set up a $1.8 billion anti-weaponization fund for rewarding traitors who tried to overturn the 2020 election. That fund is controlled by Trump.
The only one who weaponized the DOJ was Trump. What a racket.
doh,

.
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/justice-department/former-irs-contractor-sentenced-5-years-prison-leaking-trump-tax-recor-rcna135908
.
The lawsuit against the IRS wasn’t just filed by President Donald J. Trump Sr., but also Donald J. Trump Jr., Eric F. Trump, and the Trump Organization, LLC.
.
The settlement doesn’t grant “Trump and his whole family immunity from any IRS audits.” It only applies to tax returns filed prior to May 19, 2026 by President Trump, his family, and their trusts, companies, and subsidiaries. It applies to investigations, examinations, and/or audits currently underway, not future tax returns.
.
The fund of $1.776 billion is for “victims of lawfare and the weaponization of the DOJ,” not just those charged in relation to the January 06, 2021 riot. Filing a claim is voluntary, not mandatory. The “Anti-Weaponization Fund” will be run by 5 Administrators, chosen by the Attorney General, with 1 of the members chosen in consultation with Congressional leadership. President Trump can remove an Administrator, but the replacement will be chosen by the Attorney General. Any remaining funds not assigned to a “victim” by December 01, 2028 will be returned to the federal government.
.
Of the 1,400 individuals charged in relation to actions taken on January 06, 2021, I’d expect the 350 or so who were charged unconstitutionally with “obstruction” to be compensated. It’ll be interesting to see how many, if any, of the approximate 1,050 others charged will be compensated, any how many individuals who had nothing to do with the January 06, 2021 riots, but were charged with other crimes by the federal government will also be compensated. Even former First Son Hunter Biden can apply for an apology and monetary compensation.
.
If you don’t like this settlement, then you should be placing blame on Charles E. Littlejohn for causing this lawsuit and settlement by ILLEGALLY leaking tax records.

When personal drug use became a misdemeanor (Prop 47) it took an extremely
effective tool away from Judges. The ability to impose a harsh Felony sentence
which would be immediately stayed, provided, defendant got clean-n-sober,
stayed that way and maintained steady employment. Defendant was placed on
