The 35th annual Bay Area KidFest returns to the Toyota Pavilion in Concord this Sunday and Memorial Day Monday.
KidFest is a Memorial Day Weekend family event. Two days of entertainment include 20 thrilling kids rides, activities, petting zoo, food, performances, celebrities and other fun attractions
Daily attractions include, Wild About Monkeys, BMX Pros Stunt Team and Python Ron’s Reptile Kingdom, Super Mario and Princess Peach, Yoshi, and Luigi, Olaf from “Frozen”, Kids Town America, and the Kidfest Marketplace.
There are dozens of kids’ activities including balloon hats and animals, spin art, slides, crawls and much more included in the low admission price.
On Sunday, there is a special Family Dance Party from 5:00 – 8 :00 p.m. with DJ Dave and FUNKMODE.
Admission tickets, ride wristbands and ride tickets go on sale each day of KidFest starting at 9:45 a.m. Admission is just $9 with a donation of canned food to the Monument Crisis Center or $10 without can donation. Sunday is Double Can Day. A person donating two canned goods on Sunday gets $2 off their admission. A family of four bringing eight cans will save a total of $8 off their admission ticket purchase. Guests under 24 months of age or over 65 years are free.
Proceeds from Bay Area KidFest benefit local educational, health and sports groups, which have received over $125,000 in cash since 2010.
KidFest runs Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The first 500 families through the Pavilion gate receive a free KidFest Goody Bag. On-site vehicle parking is $10. For more information visit www.KidFestConcord.com.
