So, what happened to May?
The same thing that happens to Thursdays?
We started running low on May about 5 days ago. Now this!
Just like a Concordjet toaster dilemma…. May worked just fine when we knew exactly when “Decoration Day” was… It changed names, but we still knew when “Memorial Day” was. Then a new generation (union rep.) got hold of it…. May’s been out of whack ever since.

Why doesn’t someone invent a clear toaster? So you can see how toasted your toast is while it’s toasting.
For your toasting pleasure… 1920’s model was great. Then a new generation got hold of it.
That’s what toast ovens are for. I’ve had them for decades. 😎

I had (and still have) this General Electric toaster oven back in the 1970s. Only toast one bagel at a time though but I didn’t need any more than one.

Pet peeve. Please don’t let your dog hang her head out the car window. That debris that hits your windshield could also hit your dog.
Good advice, but It’s not just the debris, it’s also the wind. The wind
rushing through the dog’s nostrils can dry out their mucus membranes,
and cause respiratory issues. The wind can also cause blisters and
inflammation on the eyeballs which can be very painful. Dogs with
floppy ears are also at risk of a hematoma forming in their ears.
A hematoma is when blood collects, and forms a small pool in the ear
flaps and sometimes requires surgery.
Gas was down 5 cents at my local gas station toady.
Where? Yesterday my local fav Arco charged my just over $6- for high octane.
