Injuries were reported after a rollover collision in the area of Clayton Rd and Mendocino Dr in Concord on Tuesday evening. The cause of the crash is under investigation. Thanks to the anonymous Claycordian for the photos.

A rollover crash in a 40 MPH zone means one thing: speeding. Concord PD need to step up their traffic enforcement the entire length of the Clayton Road between Downtown Concord and Kirker Pass Rd/YVR. Not only for speeding, but for red light running and unsafe lane changes (lack of use of turn signals).
Yeah, good luck with that. I’m up and down that stretch of Clayton Road all the time and rarely, and I mean rarely, do I see any cops. Perhaps they hang out on Willow Pass or Monument, because they’re not hanging out on Clayton Road.
You are correct, I have lived in Concord for my 57 years and driving for 41 of those years up and down Clayton Road. The police have never ever patrolled Clayton Road and have always concentrated on downtown and North Concord but that is where most of the violent crimes happen in our city so it makes perfect sense that you would rarely see high police patrole down Clayton Road. Speeding is going to be a low priority over the other crimes.
I remember when motorcycle cops patrolled Clayton Road and Concord Boulevard. I saw them quite frequently years ago.
Police officers are tied up and busy chasing the hordes of criminals that are running wild in our communities thanks to the state democrat government and their supporters.

Unfortunately, not enough motor cops, and not enough traffic enforcement in the entire city. Got cops writing Administrative citations, not real tickets. Can’t get any parking enforcement. And the speeding and red light running is out of control.
