Totally agree. It is so insanely wrong what these liberal democratic school officials are doing to our young people. Parents whose children have been hurt by a person who claims to be another gender should be able to sue the offender, it’s parents, the school district and the schoolboard members that allowed the crime to happen. Until the school officials are held responsible for their decisions, these absurd ideas will continue to hurt innocent children. Large dollar court settlements is the only way to stop these dangerous insane people.

At one time it was also known as Emancipation Day and Jubilee Day, which are both better names than Juneteenth. Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the South, but it continued in the North for another 6-months after “Juneteenth” of 1865.
By most accounts there was no one person to come up with the title but that “Juneteenth” simply became the common reference to the day used by the freed slaves in Texas.
I doubt that any effort to correct or to rename the day would be well received.

About 15 years ago, a Pleasant Hill church which had sponsored a Boy Scout Troop for many decades had wanted those scouts to begin wearing rainbow flags on their uniforms. The church continued to be the sponsor of the troop, but almost everything having to do with scouting that had taken place at the church was moved off-site.
I love this……good for them. They have regular uniforms and should not be forced into wearing anything else.
