Jersey Mike’s Overtakes Chick-fil-A As America’s Favorite Fast-Food Chain
For the first time in more than a decade, Jersey Mike’s Subs has unseated Chick-fil-A as America’s highest-rated quick-service restaurant, according to the 2026 American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI).
Jersey Mike’s earned a customer satisfaction score of 84 out of 100, narrowly edging Chick-fil-A’s score of 83. The result ends Chick-fil-A’s 11-year run atop the annual rankings, which measure customer opinions on factors including food quality, order accuracy, cleanliness, staff helpfulness, speed of service, menu variety, and mobile app performance.
The ACSI report credited Jersey Mike’s strong showing to customer perceptions of food freshness, menu variety, and overall value. The sandwich chain has also been rapidly expanding, opening hundreds of new locations while maintaining high satisfaction scores among customers.
Despite losing the top spot, Chick-fil-A remains one of the nation’s most popular fast-food brands and continues to lead the chicken category. The chain’s satisfaction score remained unchanged from the previous year, indicating that its customer experience has remained strong even as competition has intensified.
Other highly rated chains included Jimmy John’s and Panda Express, while McDonald’s and Dairy Queen finished at the bottom of the rankings. Several chains, including KFC, Subway, Raising Cane’s, and Sonic, also posted improvements in customer satisfaction scores.
The rankings are based on more than 16,000 customer surveys conducted between April 2025 and March 2026, offering a snapshot of how consumers view the nation’s largest fast-food and quick-service restaurant brands
Eat more chikin?
jersey mikes does make a mean sandwich, but there are better options for a sandwich.
Then why is our location in the Ygnacio shopping center always empty!?! If I go to any local Chick-Fil-A location in the surrounding cities they are always packed! Sounds like more hate on the Christian owners to me, I think they too should add the bible verses on cups or wrapping I love seeing these infantile babies get all worked up it is quite entertaining! Chick-Fil-A is far superior to Jersey Mike’s and more affordable. I ate at the location in the Ygnacio shopping center back when it opened and haven’t been back since, Mr. Pickle’s down the street is much better! Bring back the Yogurt shop!
Jersey Mikes on Ygnacio has a very poor hiring practice. They don’t listen, think they know it all and have downsized the portions to be a joke. They can’t even bake the bread correctly. No one wants 6 people touching your sandwich and then have it end up all wrong .!
Don’t forget the Jersey Mikes on Ygnacio puts the minimal amount of meat and toppings. It’s 98% bread. That Jersey Mikes is the worst. That’s why it’s empty. Complete trash.
Wow, a whole percentage point based on a small sample size of 16,000 . . . . YAWN
Infinitesimal is more like it! and what area did they take this completely and totally rando survey?

Jersey Mikes is for heathens who prefer a separaton of Church and Shake.
LOL I see what you did here!
Wonder if Jersey Mike’s survey was taken on a Sunday,
when Chick-fil-A customers were in Church ?
Waaaaaay overrated … if you want a deli sammich go to Parma Deli on Clayton Rd
No thanks, and some. There are 6 corporate industrial fast food sandwich places within walking distance of my house(2 are grocery store delis).
I will take a real family or local business community deli any day, where they make a real sandwich out of real food.
I’ve never even heard of Jersey Mike’s so I looked ’em up & checked out the menu.
Photos look a lot like Subway’s skimpies.
I could barely see the meat under all that shredded lettuce and tomatoes.
I’m happy with Togo’s, consistent quality….. except for one sandwich when a rookie employee actually forgot to add the meat.
