all page controls are in a foreign language.
The link is from YouTube itself, one of their short links. It may open with an ad which can be skipped after 5 seconds. Maybe they didn’t skip and were taken off to the ad sponsor’s site. YouTube advertisers can be weird sometimes.
Phone again behaving itself. Perhaps streaming page I had running ? ?
Phone interfaces can do funny things especially when one is trying to navigate places like YouTube. I may have launched the next file in your que or the next tune on that channel. I like using desktop instead when posting plus I am not good at texting. That’s for the kids. 🤓
Saw that foreign language pop up and had flashback to work, trying to
troubleshoot problems on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
when some wise-AZZ would change file language to French or Polish.

In 1992, Ross Perot ran on getting rid of our $4 trillion national debt, and we now have a national debt of $39 trillion. Over the past 34 years, $35 trillion has been added to our national debt. The Mt. Diablo Unified School District is considering putting a bond measure on the November 03, 2026 ballot.

I’ve seen different but similar language in regards to this bond measure, one stated, “To repair aging schools, keep students safe and prepare them for success in college or the workforce, by maintaining job training and vocational education classrooms, removing asbestos and mold, providing clean drinking water, and upgrading science, math, and technology labs.” The other stated, “Removing hazardous materials like asbestos from older school sites, ensuring clean, safe drinking water at every school site, updating math, science, and engineering labs and technology, improving safety and security systems, providing up-to-date career technical education to ensure students are prepared for college and careers, and upgrading outdated and inefficient heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.”

I’ve seen two different proposals for this bond measure. One is for $251 million in bonds to be issued, designed to raise $16 million annually, at a cost of $18.00 per $100,000.00 in assessed value. The other one is for $529 million in bonds to be issued, at a cost of $38.00 per $100,000 in assessed value.

I believe the $251 million in bonds is the amount currently being considered, while I believe the $529 million in bonds was the initial proposal.

Only 20 days left for votes to be counted and certified. An estimated 6,205 votes are left to be counted statewide and 63,505 votes are left to be cured and counted statewide.
The term “cured” is obviously open to interpretation.

As long as the City of Los Angeles doesn’t have a “sour grapes” provision for candidates who lost the primary, then Spencer Pratt should run a write-in campaign, or 2022 Los Angeles Mayoral candidate Rick Caruso, or some other candidate should run a write-in campaign. Cancelation of the signing doesn’t really mean anything at this point, unless President Trump vetoes the bill! If President Trump doesn’t sign or veto the “21st Century Road to Housing Act” within 10-days it automatically becomes law. Based on the number of Senators and Representatives who voted for the bill, both Houses of Congress have the numbers to override a presidential veto. The only chance that President Trump has to actually use the “21st Century Road to Housing Act” as leverage to pass the “SAVE America Act,” is if Speaker Mike Johnson and Majority Leader John Thune refuse to bring the bill up for a veto override vote in the House and Senate until the “SAVE America Act” is passed, they do bring the bill up for a veto override vote and enough Republicans in both Houses of Congress fear the wrath of President Trump and vote “No” on an override vote, or Speaker Mike Johnson and Majority Leader John Thune adjourn Congress for recess within the next 10-days allowing President Trump a pocket veto, which can’t be overridden.
Congressman Mark DeSaulnier has co-sponsored a resolution to impeach Secretary of Education Linda McMahon. This impeachment isn’t going anywhere, so why waste time and money on political theater?

Possibly, but Congressman Mark DeSaulnier is in a safe district and doesn’t even need to campaign for reelection. In the primary earlier this month he received 60.14% of the vote while running against 6 opponents, consisting of 3 Democrats and 3 Republicans.
