The California Highway Patrol’s Independence Day Holiday Enforcement Period runs now through 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, July 5. During the enforcement campaign, CHP officers will be on heightened patrol looking for speeding, impaired, and reckless drivers. Motorists are urged to slow down, obey posted speed limits, buckle up, and help make the holiday weekend safe for everyone.
Well, that explains the good showing I saw this morning while driving around doing my errands: I saw 3-different people pulled over by the CHP. It pleased me to see them finally cracking down on these crazy drivers.
agree…. just patrolling YVR from Clayton Rd to Oak Grove and you’ll see people going 90+ weaving in and out of traffic
Ive seen two people on different days get arrested for dui’s. Highway patrol doesnt mess around with drunk drivers.
I’m a millennial
I can drive however I choose
That’s good – but I’d like to see LE crack down on all the illegal fireworks… in previous years reporting it went to a voicemail that was never acted on … we’ll see if this year is different
