A child was struck by a vehicle on Monument Blvd at Detroit Ave in Concord this afternoon, around 1:40 p.m. The boy, who is 8-years-old, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. He was sitting up and talking to paramedics at the scene. The driver stopped, and was cooperating with police.
Use caution if you’re in the area due to the large amount of emergency vehicles on scene.
