Concord police made dozens of arrests during the week of July 1-7, including a case involving multiple young adults accused of possessing assault weapons and a machine gun, an arrest on suspicion of rape, and several residential and commercial burglaries.

One of the week’s largest cases unfolded on July 3 near Overhill Road and Avon Avenue, where officers arrested five people, ages 18 to 20, on suspicion of illegally possessing assault weapons, carrying concealed firearms in a vehicle, possessing firearms without identification marks, and marijuana-related offenses. A sixth suspect was separately arrested in the same case on suspicion of possessing a machine gun, an assault weapon, carrying a concealed firearm, driving without a license and marijuana possession. Also on July 3, officers arrested a 22-year-old Walnut Creek man on suspicion of rape of an unconscious person.

Other notable arrests during the week included:

But the Dems claim that diversity is our strength. Prior to the illegal invasion,
crimes like these were an incredibility rare occurrence in Concord.
Coincidence? I think not.

Dawg,
.
I hate the term “Diversity is our strength,” I much prefer “Individuality and unification is our strength.”
.
Yet, all we hear from the Concord Police Department is that crime is going down in Concord.
.
How many Concord residents don’t bother reporting crime anymore?
