What ever floats your boat. When I was a young Marine I got one on my
upper arm. Tattoos have been a part of human culture for thousands of
years, but I would say that the recent boom we’ve been seeing in the last
20 or so years is more of a craze, and will eventually die down. The only
opinion I have on tattoos is when they are on the neck and face. They look
preposterous, and in my opinion is an indication of a person who finds it
difficult to comprehend and weigh information when making choices, and
doesn’t understand the consequences it may have in the future, especially
when looking for employment
I also find the homemade tattoos concerning. When I was in health care,
many of my patients with homemade tattoos were infected with hepatitis C,
and a few were also infected with HIV. Tattoos should always be done by a
licensed professional in a sterile environment.

I personally don’t care for it. But if you like the look, go for it. Who am I to judge?

I think tattoo removal services will be a booming business in the not too distant future.

I’m surprised at how quickly tattoos have become mainstream. I don’t care to see them when in professional settings. A former employer of mine required employees to have tattoos covered when working.

If you want that paisley print shirt look, it’s cheaper to just buy the shirt.

Not a fan, they had their peak in 2002 with that dude from West Coast Choppers and Kat Von D……..and now she is blacking all of hers out!!
Also, I don’t remember in the 80s & 90s any geeks or nerds having tattoos…….but now I see those types with them, including the overweight individual riding around on a scooter at walmart with arm sleeve tattoos. Cringe.

If your going for the shock value, face tattoos are the only way to go. Tattoos are seen that done that, just no longer cool anymore. Everyone has one.
