BART riders will see service changes beginning July 20 and Aug. 10 as the transit agency rolls out longer trains, adjusts schedules and changes operations at Daly City Station to improve reliability and reduce crowding.
Starting July 20, longer trains will run during peak commute hours on the Red, Yellow, Blue and Green lines, while some shorter trains will operate during off-peak hours and on the Orange Line.
A new systemwide schedule takes effect Aug. 10, with some departure times shifting by a few minutes. BART said the changes will provide more evenly spaced trains, shorter transfer times and improved connections throughout the system.
One of the biggest changes will be at Daly City Station, which will operate as a center-platform station to reduce train congestion and improve service reliability across the network.
BART is encouraging riders to check the new schedules before Aug. 10 to see whether their trips will be affected.
They promised 10 car trains and shorter wait intervals when covid was over…. I’ll believe it when I see it
More BART propaganda to keep BART in the minds of voters because they want us to pass the sales tax increase to fund public transportation of which BART would receive approximately 31% of the proceeds of the projected $1 billion in revenue that this tax is projected to bring in annually. These propaganda BART press releases cost BART virtually nothing to produce and they then use them as campaign materials.
yep, we’re the suckers. VOTE NO ON ANYTHING RELATED TO BART. BART makes the daycare and hospice grift look like the rookie team. So much waste and fraud surrounds BART that they don’t deserve one more red cent. The ONLY way to make any corrections is to burn it all down, smoke out the cockroaches and rats and start over.

The bigger problem is all of the other 11 “transit agencies” who would get a share of the other $700 million annually. We’ve heard nothing about these other agencies and how they intend to spend any money they’d receive.
BART should be freeway for all riders.
