Congressman Mark DeSaulnier (CA-10) will host a virtual town hall on healthcare on Monday, July 20, from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. The online event will focus on healthcare costs, insurance coverage, pharmacy benefit managers, and other issues affecting the nation’s healthcare system. According to DeSaulnier’s office, the discussion will also include his views on the impact of recently passed federal legislation on health insurance coverage. Joining the congressman will be Vaishu Jawahar, director of policy at Protect Our Care, and Dr. Grant Colfax, director of Contra Costa Health. The event will include a live question-and-answer session with attendees. The town hall will be held on Zoom and streamed live on YouTube. Why does his party not care about the rampant fraud as it drives up healthcare costs (note no Democrat showed up at the recent hearings on this matter)? and, finally Markie do you agree with the University of California, San Francisco Chancellor Sam Hawgood, who recently suggested that some pregnancies occur in people who are not women?????? – Of course, these will not be asked or even attempted to answer – what a waste of time.
May I suggest a more appropriate title:
“Healthcare, and why you should finance it for people you have never met”.
