Update: Cal Fire has ceased aerial operations for the night. A large number of firefighters remain working on the ground and will throughout the night, along with several engines, bulldozers and water tenders. There is a retardant line, completely around the fire, but still no official containment percentage.

Air tankers are flying over the house.
The whole area surrounding Mt Daiblo has been primed for a wildlands fire for years now. Sad that our State can’t grasp the need for prescribed burns and brush thinning. They wait until it’s too late, then people lose their lives and homes.
Wake up CA, you take are tax money and for what? You don’t do crap to protect people. You piss it away on the homeless drug addicts that don’t want to be helped.
They stay here because of the “free” ti them hand outs, which actually ccome out of hard working people’s pay checks.
This is not a fair practice, it’s actually thievery.
Besides the fire there are lots of rattlesnakes, poison oak and scorpions up there… and it’s steep too! Be safe.

This is beginning to remind me of the Mount Diablo fire of 2013. It lasted for five days and the flames could be seen at night ringing the top of the mountain.
