Concord Police officers made dozens of arrests between July 8 and July 14, with cases ranging from robbery, burglary and domestic violence to drug offenses, DUI arrests and warrant-related arrests. Among the most notable arrests was the case involving 26-year-old San Francisco resident Sofia Ann-Buitron Drotts, who was booked on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges involving an alleged sexual relationship with a 17-year-old juvenile male. Other felony arrests during the week included a robbery arrest on Willow Pass Road, multiple burglary arrests, an arson arrest near Willow Pass Road and Market Street, several domestic violence-related arrests involving corporal injury, false imprisonment and assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury, as well as narcotics-for-sale and weapons-related cases. Officers also arrested a suspect on charges of carrying a concealed firearm in a vehicle, possessing a large-capacity magazine and misuse of tear gas. Police also handled numerous property crimes throughout the week. The department’s burglary report shows residential, commercial and storage facility burglaries, along with several felony and misdemeanor shoplifting cases at businesses on Diamond Boulevard, Willow Pass Road, Monument Boulevard and Sunvalley Mall. One industrial-site burglary on Port Chicago Highway resulted in the arrest of two suspects on burglary, conspiracy and possession of burglary tools charges. In addition, officers made several DUI arrests, recovered multiple individuals wanted on local and out-of-jurisdiction warrants, and arrested suspects for drug possession, vandalism, trespassing, resisting officers and probation violations.

Now it seems as if it should be “Concord, where illegal invaders come first.”

Do wish vehicle 459s were made public, so we could avoid areas
of high activity, OR perhaps merchants asked for that info to remain
secret ? ? ?

Parents review with your kids to illustrate how stupid moves,
have real world consequences.

Do wish there were a way to see final resolution of cases.
Charges reduced, dropped, plea bargains, probation and sentences.

Would be educational for public and especially younger people to see
complete cycle from “Stupid Move” to Real World Outcome. Could
end up being not only educational but a deterrence of crime.
Great job Concord PD. Now we just need to know the cases that are being prosecuted, plead out, declined and the sentencing results from our not so honorable district attorneys office.
