Apparently Trump didn’t wade out into the pool and claim to find the damage himself…. so those headlines are a bit misleading.

I did find that story about former Olympian David Hearn interesting that while he adamantly denies vandalizing the reflecting pool, eyewitnesses who called the police and videotaped it provide some pretty damning evidence that he is an outright liar.

Mr. Hearn (the former Olympic Canoeist) is claiming that a vandalism had already occurred before he took his turn at it…. I don’t see how that would make him any less guilty (“The other boys did it too!” defense).

My take on socialized healthcare.
The population of the United States is in the neighborhood of 350 million.
There are just a little over one million medical doctors licensed to practice
medicine in the US, and given that Medicare and Medicaid do not reimburse
100% of the cost, not all medical doctors accept Medicare and/or Medicaid.
Then we will have to take into consideration the likelihood that a good deal
of health care workers will quit their jobs if they are forced to take on such a
heavy workload, and how long will it take to make an appointment to see
one of the few doctors that are willing to stay and accept a lower paying job
that was once a lucrative profession? How exactly do the Democratic socialists
plan on implementing such a ridiculous conception without losing health care
professionals, and without bankrupting the system?
Imagine calling to make an appointment to see a doctor, only to be placed on
hold for over an hour. When they finally get to you, the only appointment they
have is for next year, and if you want to see a specialist, that will take another
two or three years. After you finally see a doctor, you get a prescription, and
you head over to the pharmacy, only to find out there is a long line of people
that have been camped out waiting their turn.

of five, young children were taught Nazi ideology and to hate the
Jews. The “Hitler Youth” of 1938, was an organization for specially
picked children at the age of ten, where they would be indoctrinated
for the next four years, and if they were still not complete National
Socialists, they were forced into labor service and “smoothed out” as
Hitler called it, for another 6 or 7 months, then forced into the German
military where they will complete their indoctrination.
It seems paradoxical that the Left would call Trump, Hitler, when it is the
Left that has fostered Hitler’s philosophy of indoctrination. Perhaps they
should read up on Nazi Germany before they open their mouths about
something they know absolutely nothing about.

The State of California wants more immigration to bring up the student count.
Educated guesses here:
I think the drops are from kids moving to other states and fewer ESL kids due to reduced immigration. Since the biggest drops by percentage are private and home, it seems that this is more from exiting families (higher income earners with the ability to flee tend to have higher private and home schooling usage).
Another possible explanation is that money is tight and fewer folks are opting to pay out of pocket for private schools, and maybe the home schooling parent gave up teaching for an income.
Whatever the reasons, the teacher’s unions will cry poverty and demand more money.
There are some students who don’t like to use the restroom at school because of the vaping or other problems. It is going to get worse. Boys and girls in the same bathroom. What could go wrong? Home school or private school, but be sure to check the private school carefully. There are some with the same ideology as public schools. If not an option be involved with your child’s school. Know what is going on.
