Any one of those would set off my gag reflex.

Dead Crickets!
People who keep crickets to feed small pets know what I’m talking about.
As for the rest of you, try to imagine dead fish and clams baking in the sun for a few days in a bucket full of manure that a drunken vagrant just barfed in …. dead, decaying crickets smell 5 X worse!

I can confirm the Doctor’s claim here. My kids had reptiles, and crickets (alive and dead) to go inside them, all growing up. Dead cricket smell is quite awful.

A certain animal repellant (I forget which one), but it smelled like “hollow air” – I know that doesn’t make sense, but it was like there wasn’t any air in the air.
