The place looks peaceful and typical for a rural area. https://www.sfgate.com/bayarea/article/buried-in-bureaucracy-red-tape-puts-historic-3304135.php is from June 20, 2000 and said there was $100,000 in a trust fund for maintenance. I’m wondering if it’s still there or has disappeared into a lawyer’s pocket.
This is how this cemetery has looked for many decades, but about 2 decades ago a clean-up effort was made and above ground cremation niches were added to the cemetery to expand burial options and bring in more revenue, but after a few years the cemetery returned to its previous state of disrepair, disregard, and disrespect, where it remains today. It’s truly sad!!!
You wanna see sad?
Look at the John Marsh historical marker just down the road from there on Pacheco Blvd.
It really needs to be restored & there is usually alot of litter there too.

I stopped at this marker a couple of months ago and saw how bad it looked. This area always has so much litter. We’d probably get in trouble with the law if we tried to shine up this plaque.
Yes, many like this, so sad. As time moves forward who knows what happens to humanity. There are currently around 8 billion humans alive on this planet. Within the next 130 years, all 8 billion will die.
This is why I’m getting cremated.

I haven’t decided exactly where I’d like the cremains scattered tho.
