It’ll be another hot week across central and eastern Contra Costa County, with the warmest temperatures expected Monday as inland communities like Concord, Clayton, Walnut Creek, Pittsburg, Antioch and Brentwood climb into the upper 90s to low 100s. A Heat Advisory is in effect for much of the inland Bay Area Monday.
Temperatures will gradually ease back into the upper 80s and low 90s for the rest of the week, with plenty of sunshine, dry conditions, and cool overnight lows in the upper 50s to mid-60s. No rain is in the forecast, although some haze from wildfire smoke outside the region could occasionally impact air quality later in the week.
