A Martinez man was arrested Wednesday afternoon after allegedly breaking into a home in Pleasant Hill, according to police. Officers responded to a report of a possible residential burglary in progress near Gail Drive and Bridgewater Way after the homeowner reported seeing an unknown man and a dog inside the residence through a surveillance camera. As officers established a perimeter around the home, they spotted a man and his dog fleeing through the backyard. The suspect, identified as Vincent Delgado, 37, of Martinez, was detained while officers investigated.
The Pleasant Hill Police Department’s Patrol Drone Team, along with a Pittsburg Police K-9 unit, assisted in clearing the residence. Officers determined Delgado had allegedly forced entry into the home. Delgado was arrested and booked into the Martinez Detention Facility on burglary charges. The investigation remains ongoing.

He’s 37 no reason to hide his identity let the community see his face we should all know exactly what he looks like. Keep his behind incarcerated where he belongs far away from breaking into innocent civilians homes where they are just trying to live their best life. He’s lucky homeowner’s weren’t present and armed! Such a shame!!!
